Here are the 7 errors in Sarkar Raj, if the director had done away with, would have made it a much better movie. 1. Aishwarya Rai-She, or rather her character is a big letdown. She looks out of place in the movie and Ash does not even have that much of a role in the film. Thirdly, Ash does not suit the role of a practical businesswoman. She did not seem to have the aggression and ?don?t bullshit with me? aura that a Priyanka, Bipasha or even a Sushmita could have carried off. Aishwarya looked too much of a softie for the role. 2. Again an Aishwarya flaw in Sarkar Raj. This time not about the actress, but about her character. She creates buckets of tears when she sees Abhishek?s character dead in the hospital. Sarkar Raj begins with a promise of a good sequel but somehow does not have the impact of the Sarkar except for two or three scenes. What is good about the Sarkar Raj is that the premise is just about topical and timely. However compared to Sarkar, Sarkar Raj is strictly an average fare.Story of Sarkar Raj: Sarkar Raj opens with a promising scene of a barbed fencing which sets the mood of the film, stark and serious. The story is about Anita(Aishwarya) a business woman who comes to meet Sarkar(Amitabh Bachchan) with a project proposal to build a power plant in Maharashtra. Aamir Khan couldn?t have asked for a better coincidence. The thriller of a finale between Team Rajasthan and Team Chennai ended with a heart stopping win for the Rajasthan Royals. The situation had reached to the point where Rajasthan had to get one run from one ball to win the match. The entire country?s eyes was on Sohail Tanwir and he dint disappoint. He won the game and was hugged and hoisted up by his team members?.which makes us draw parallels with Aamir Khan?s character Bhuvan in Lagaan . Bhuvan?s Champaner team was underdogs just like Rajasthan Royals. No one expected Rajasthan Royals to qualify, let alone win. Shane Warne did a Bhoovan in the IPL. Finally a movie worth watching after the hit Race. Finally a movie that has more substance and less style. Finally a movie that is high on content and less on stupid filmi stuff. Just a couple of days ago, I happen to see two movies that I had seen much earlier in the theatre-Life in a..Metro and Traffic Signal. When I had seen both of these movie for the first time in the theatre, I felt that they were bland. Life in a. ..Metro looked far-fetched, and Traffic Signal did not have a moving plot. It seemed like the story revolved round and round the traffic signal without going ahead. But incidentally, one of my friends had liked both of the films and since I appreciate his choices in life, I decided to give those movies a second look. Boy! I was thrilled. The characterizations, the performances and the sensitive moments in both the films hit me. People in Bollywood are suing around. First it was the news of Ram Sampath suing Rakesh Roshan for lifting his track ?Thump? for the movie Krazzy 4. Ram Sampath was right on his count and Rakesh Roshan was unfortunate because he had been informed by Sony Ericson through a letter that the track may be taken. Later when Ram sued Rakesh Roshan, Sony Ericsson stated that it was a mistake on their part. As a result, Rakesh Roshan had a hefty price to pay(read Rs.2 crores). Suing is fine but only when it matters, not for trivial reasons.
