A collapsed construction crane has wrecked the home used as Cameron Diaz 's house in comedy 'There's Something About Mary'. Two people were killed and four others were left injured when the crane crashed through the roof of the building, which sits next to a condominium development in Miami, Florida, on Tuesday morning.     The former film home was in the process of being turned into a new restaurant.

What Happens In Vegas Gets A Second Trailer

  I don’t know why, but there was a little part of me that was hoping a new trailer for What Happens in Vegas would bring something amusing enough to make me want to see the Ashton Kutcher / Cameron Diaz comedy. Well, the second trailer for the movie is out and… no such luck. The second trailer is mostly comprised of the exact same footage we’ve already seen in the first trailer. You know, the footage that really wasn’t all that funny to begin with. Okay, the shot of Ashton Kutcher peeing in the sink because he can’t use the woman-occupied bathroom elicits a few sophomoric giggles, but that’s about it. By the time the trailer gets to new footage (also bathroom humor as Kutcher sticks popcorn down his pants) I remember why I have no interest in this movie at all.

The film is based on the Jodi Picoult novel of the same name, which tells the tale of a young girl who sues her parents for the right to make her own decisions about how her body is used when a kidney transplant is planned in order to potentially save her older sister.

When you think of sexy leading ladies, Cameron Diaz is always at the top of the list.  And last night the “Shrek” actress worked her magic on the spectators at the ShoWest convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. Diaz was in town to promote her new flick “What Happens in Vegas…” to the National Association of Theatre Owners, although she got a little more love than she bargained for. Fox Filmed Entertainment chairman Tom Rothman seized the moment by grabbing Cameron and kissing her on the cheek during a shared moment onstage- something she didn’t look too thrilled about. If you've ever read the book by Jodi Picoult, you know this is a major tearjerker. Long cry for Rick from his days of "One Night In Paris." Salomon is set to play a courtroom bailiff in the drama, in which a mom, played by Diaz, is sued for emancipation by her daughter. Abigail Breslin will play Diaz's girl. Those two are excellent actresses but can Salomon hold his own?

Don't know about you, but I'm dying to get into bright sunny Spring colours. Purples, blues - even yellow. Yep, honest, Mum. But this blasted weather. What's going on? It's the kind of storm force day even Ray Mears would stay indoors for! So, yet again, I'm in winter blacks, from head to foot. Great then to see Cameron Diaz sporting the same look last night, at LA's trendy Villa Lounge. And it wasn't even Goth night. I checked. Clearly, from her serene expression, Cam stayed on the soft drinks, it being a school night and all ;-). Not so great to see that faded-out black jeans look so hot. I just did that Dylon dye thing with my faded-out black jeans, and hey, they're not so faded-out anymore. Bums. My washing machine's a nice pale grey now though! Very Spring / Summer. I'm loving Cam's zebra clutch, though it does look a little like a soft toy comforter, tucked so tightly under her arm like that. The peep-toe shoots are fab too. Abigail Breslin will star opposite Cameron Diaz and Alec Baldwin in New Line Cinema's upcoming drama, My Sister's Keeper. Elle Fanning had been in negotiations to play the part, with her sister, Dakota, in talks to play her older sister, but the Fannings' deal fell apart and Breslin landed the role. Nick Cassavetes (Alpha Dog) is attached to direct the film adaptation of the heartbreaking novel by Jodi Picoult. Breslin will play Anna, a 13-year-old girl who was conceived as a genetic match for her cancer-ridden sister and is seeking emancipation from her parents. Diaz plays Anna's mother and a former defense attorney who returns to court to defend herself and her husband (the role of Diaz's husband has yet to be cast). Baldwin will play Anna's lawyer. Jeremy Leven, who previously partnered with Cassevetes and producer Mark Johnson on New Line's The Notebook, penned the script. Shooting begins March 3 in Los Angeles.
