AMERICA'S entertainment industry is warning that at least 15,000 jobs are threatened and that more than 60 television series face the axe within days as the strike by scriptwriters cripples Hollywood . The warning by industry and business leaders came as Broadway producers launched legal action against stage hands whose own industrial campaign has closed theatres in New York. The Hollywood strike could cost the Los Angeles economy up to $US85 million ($A95 million) a day if it continues into December, according to estimates. Monday's episode inched closer to setting things right by telling fans what happened to Matt Parkman's wife (she cheated on him and got pregnant and the baby belongs to the other man) and by bringing a "Heroes" regular, evil Sylar (Greentree's own Zachary Quinto) into the Mexican twins story that had previously dragged down the show (if we don't know them well, we won't care about them).
