Macau: Gaming revenue up 62 percent in first quarter 澳門賭場首季收
2008-04-18 09:14:00 Official data released from The Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau said Gross gaming revenue rose by 62 percent in the first three months of the year (reached 30.085 billion patacas - equivalent to 3.760 billion US dollars), compared to the same period in 2007. Casino gaming recorded gross revenue of 29.823 billion patacas between January and March 2008, the first three months of this year revenue is almost equal to the entire year of 2003. While betting on other activities such as horseracing, dogs, football, basketball and lotteries accounted for gross revenue of 262 million patacas. VIP baccarat has contributed 20.801 billion patacas or 69.14 percent of total gross revenue from the casino gaming gross revenue.
