Big Brother 10 promises to have all new twists, larger variety of ages and a more diverse cast from the point of view of racial background and socio economic standing. I’m still betting on Fans vs Favorites and praying to gawd that Rob and Amber don’t make an appearance. However they might opt for a Reality Veterans vs Reality Newbie edition, that could be cool. What reality stars would be successful in BB? How about Nate from Beauty and the Geek or perhaps Glenn Foster from Fox’s hit reality show “The littlest Groom”. By JACQUELINE LEE Iowans who auditioned for the 10th season of “Big Brother� at an open casting call Saturday all have strategies for winning the show. Casting producers of “Big Brother� said about 200 people showed up at Merle Hay Mall on Saturday to audition for the show, which places house mates together for three months without any contact from the outside world and tapes their every move. Noreen Hills of Newton said she’s been a fan of the show from the start and has been building an arsenal of techniques by watching how other house guests have behaved. “In my mind, I’ve implemented a strategy,� Hills said, “but it’s a secret. I want to be the girl that wins the show.� But Hills said that there are lines she won’t cross because her four kids will be watching. “My kids laughed and said, ‘They’re not going to pick you. I’m delighted to say “No.� In fact this cultural studies major was having a riot watching the nerves and hackles on everyone there. Well its time for the Big Brother 10 rumors to start rolling off the internets rumors assembly line. Seeing the finale showing the first BB10 commercials featuring black silhouettes dancing to the song “Happy Together.â€� As the figures danced and the music played, the words “Summer And Big Brother Together Againâ€� flashed in the background. Because the words were separated as they flashed. Could this be another “dirty little secrets” twists that means nothing when the show finally start or is this a hint of somethings to come. casting call began at 5 p.m. ended at 9 p.m.(central). i arrived at 4:40, when i got there, already about 200+ people in line. it took me about 3 & 1/2 hours before they finally got to me. when they did get to me they did groups of 10 interviews. only one question was asked, “who is the best player in big brother history EVER”? each person gave his/her answer. the entire interview took about 6-7 minutes. after i left there were still about 200+ people in line overall, i would estimate about 400+ people at the Houston casting call. source mbarr362 on jokers

So when the CW came to the Mississippi River town to cast its own farm-based version of “The Bachelor ,” farmer Matt signed on. “I had filled out an application for ‘The Bachelor’ four years ago,” says Matt, 29. “It was pretty much a joke. I forgot about it. But then I got a call from a casting director.” The college-educated farmer, who won’t use his last name on the show, is the proud and successful hayseed who shows female city slickers the ropes in the CW’s “Farmer Wants A Wife,” which premieres April 30 at 9 p.m. Ten city girls were flown in for a month last July to see if they would be compatible with Matt, tractors, bingo night and life without Starbucks. “Hey Kenny, so you know I work in a gay bar right. Well a co-worker of mine might be on the next installment of BB. I guess BB wanted a gay cowboy, so they contacted the Gay Rodeo Association. So the Rodeo Association gave them a list of 4 people, and this guy JOHN DOE I work with was one of them. I guess its between him and another guy. I’m not really that close with the guy, he’s kind of a tool… but he’d do well on the show. I work in a typical gay video bar, and this guy wears wranglers and cowboy hats to work all the time. Its kind of funny. He gets along with most people, and used to be married so he also flirts with girls. He’d probably do well on the show. He just bugs me. I’ll keep you posted if he gets on…”

source “Not to change the subject or anything, but I auditioned for Big Brother 2nite here in Salt Lake City, Utah. And–without trying to sound cocky or presumptuous–I believe I did really well. They said that call backs would be made by this Monday. I even made the evening news. Woohoo! They showed us standing in line for the auditions. Vicki, if you have Comcast, you can go to “Utah On Demandâ€Â� and then “CBS newsâ€Â� at 6pm to see it. Audition s were… from 4 to 8pm and I got my turn at 7pm. The lines were long–if I had to guess, I’d say there was about 250 people who auditioned. If you are interested in hearing more details, let me know. I’ll write more tomorrow. Right now, I’m just tired as hell from the whole process and then being excited afterward and calling family and friends. In “Big Brother 9,” there are no likeable characters. In a cast of sixteen contestants who are all under thirty except for the 45 year-old single mother (and former 1984 Penthouse Pet of the Year–of course!), this season of the show feels more like a cheap knock-off of “The Real World.” No surprise, then, that there has been a lot of immaturity inside of the house that has hit a “100″ on the scale of absurdity. Though the show has only been on the air since February 12th, fans have already been treated to discussions and arguments about uncircumcised penises, disdain for interracial relationships, and ugly grade school-like fights over “he said, she said” rhetoric.
