Gay & Lesbian King dom 's Phil atelic Bureau turns one!On the 1st January 2006, one year ago today the Government of the Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands assumed control of its Postal Services. As an interim measure, Australian stamps were used. These were replaced by the Kingdoms own design in July of 2006. The Kingdom’s stamps are used with a Euro value since trade is carried out in this currency, the subject are always of a predominantly Gay and Lesbian flavour. The Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands intends to adopt a conservative stamp issuing policy with the aim of creating a high and distinctive reputation amongst the philatelic fraternity.
