no one believes me: part 8 - no freaken way Chapter 9: The escape Jake found himself running as fast as he could possibly push himself to go and it still did not seem fast enough. Once what he had seen had finally sunk in, Jake was able to compose himself. He felt a little awkward at his becoming frozen like a teenage girl in a freddy Krueger movie, but Pem assured him that it was just mere seconds that had passed. It seemed to Jake that Pem spent a lot of time talking about time, for someone who claimed time did not exist. He kept running and could tell by Pem’s movement as well as the thoughts he was sending to his mind, that Pem was getting into the silver case and trying to extract one of the cylinders from inside. Jake could hear the grunts and snorts of the two giants stomping after them. No one believes me - part 6 Jake stared at Pemfro wrapped in the soaked t-shirt, glowing a faint bluish grey and perhaps even pulsating when he found him self going over everything that had just happened. While he started a small campfire, he thought about how it had all began. He had seen a streak in the sky and heard a crash. He found a beetle shaped ship and then the little alien who flew it. The alien’s name was Pemfro, he had no mouth, and seemed friendly enough. He somehow was able to share with Jake a lifetimes worth of memories in a matter of minutes. Jake was doing everything he could to try and repair, heal, fix the alien. His mind was invaded by an energy force, two of them actually and although it was uncomfortable Jake didn’t mind it to much. No One Believes Me: Part 5 - Profor Jake wasn’t looking at Pemfro’s ship any longer. He was looking at some sort of vortex and he could clearly see streams of activity flashing through them. He imagined what he was looking at was pretty similar to a waterfall that poured down the side of a mountain in the middle of the rain forest. One that concealed an ancient cave the natives will not acknowledge. Except, this waterfall’s cave would flicker in and out, while flashing you quick glimpses of, well you name it. Everything Jake had ever imagined and an infinite amount of things he could not imagine, flashed through the stream at an unbelievable rate. It glowed and it hypnotized him. No One Believes Me - Part 4 - the Operation Pemfro could not believe what was happening. His ship was out of control and a crash was inevitable. He wasn’t about to panic, he was trained for situations like this; although for some reason he found himself reminding himself that he was trained. Pemfro came from a long line of Profor supporters. He grand’s great grand was one of the Almertrean that began the movement and as far as he knew, every member of his clan had since taken on the responsibility. He thought about his grand while his small hands worked rapidly on the control panel of his ship. He needed to make preparations quickly before entering the atmosphere or he was surely doomed. No One Believes Me: Part 3 - Pemfro Jake knew he had his work cut out for him. He remembered back to when Pemfro had mind melded with him. That’s what Jake was calling it now. He did after all consider himself a Trekki and had enjoyed countless hours of several of the Star Trek series television shows. TNG ~the next generation~ was his favorite. The alien had relayed explicit instructions for Jake to follow. He had related that the order and sequence of what his human needed to do was very important.
