Mel Gibson has admitted that he suffers from bipolar disorder in a new documentary. The documentary is about the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) acting class of 1977. The Hollywood star, who was interviewed in 2002 by his classmate Sally McKenzie, talks about his memories as a student in a stellar year that included Judy Davis, Steve Bisley, Robert Menzies, Annie Byron, Debra Lawrance, Linda Newton and the theatre director Peter Kingston. "I found out recently I'm manic depressive," he added. He was arrested on July 28, 2006 for DUI while speeding in his vehicle with an open container of alcohol, and was also accused of making the derogatory remarks about Jews to the sheriff's deputy who arrested him. However, Gibson has repeatedly apologized for making the derogatory comments.

American pop singer Jessica Simpson has reportedly split with her quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo . They have been dating since November 2007, have quietly parted their ways. An Us Weekly spy overheard Romo as telling his friends that he was single again, and it was that same night that Simpson was spotted on a drinking binge with her pals, reports the New York Daily News. While they were still seeing each other, Simpson had publicly spoken about her Dallas Cowboys quarterback beau, telling Glamour magazine in its June issue that Romo is her "future husband." When they were still a couple, Simpson was blamed for her boyfriend's poor performance during a Cowboys playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles in January. Romo was later taunted by his fans, who waved pictures of the pop singer during a Giants game, which the Cowboys lost. However, Simpson's publicist has insisted that she and Romo are still on.

She's shooting the movie Goodie Two Shoes in Louisiana and has lots of appearances lined up, so she and Patterson won't be together that much. The less time they spend together, the longer the relationship will drag on, but it won't last. She'll come to her senses.
