American actress, Jeri Ryan , 40, known primarily for her roles in movies and television has given birth to baby girl, Gisele on Sunday in Los Angeles. The baby weighing 7 pounds, 13 ounces, is her first baby with her husband, French chef Christophe Eme. Ryan who currently stars on the TV drama Shark on CBS, wed in France last June and own L.A. restaurant Ortolan, which Christophe Eme heads. She has a 13-year-old son, Alex, from a previous relationship.

The 33-year-old American actress will give the money to the World Food Program , a UN body that delivers millions of tonnes of food aid to more than 70 million people in about 80 countries, she said on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Jeff Healey Dies of Cancer at 41

Jeff Healey, a Canadian guitarist, singer, songwriter, blues, jazz, and rock musician whose band sold millions of blues-rock records died on Sunday (March 2) in Toronto hospital. He was 41. He finally succumbed to retinal cancer, which claimed his sight at age 1. The Grammy-nominated guitar virtuoso, famous for playing his instrument flat on his lap, reached the height of his success in 1988 with his album See the Light, which spawned the hit single ''Angel Eyes.'' Healey shared the stage with guitar legends like Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King, and Eric Clapton. Though he started out playing blues-rock, his last three studio efforts leaned toward jazz, which was said to be Healey's true love. He died a month before the April 22 release of his first rock album in eight years, Mess of Blues. He is survived by his wife, Christie, and two children.

Boy George has pleaded not guilty to falsely imprisoning a male escort by chaining him to a wall. The singer and DJ, whose real name is George O'Dowd, is also accused of assaulting Audun Carlsen during the alleged incident on 28 April last year. Prosecutors claim the 46-year-old former Culture Club frontman chained Mr Carlsen up at his home in Ravey Street, Hackney, east London. Actress Mischa Barton , 22, best known for her role as Marissa Cooper on the hit television show The O.C., was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor DUI and pot possession in connection with her December arrest in West Hollywood following a traffic stop. Barton spent about seven hours in jail before being released on $10,000 bail. Prosecutors said she would make a formal court appearance on Thursday on the misdemeanor charges.

Madonna has titled her upcoming new album Hard Candy which will be release in April 29th. The album, which features such songs as Candy Store and the first single Four Minutes, is the follow-up to Confessions on a Dance Floor, which debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. pop chart in November 2005. The title and release date were first reported by EW, and the details were confirmed by Madonna's spokeswoman. Hard Candy will be Madonna's last studio release for Warner Bros. before she begins a wide-ranging 10-year recording, touring and merchandising deal with Artist Nation, a new initiative launched by concert promoter Live Nation.

Lindsay Lohan as Marilyn Monroe in "The Last Sitting"

In 1962, photographer Bert Stern shot a series of photos of Marilyn Monroe at the Hotel Bel-Air that are collectively known as "The Last Sitting." The 36-year-old Monroe was in the darkest period of her life, having weathered two recent divorces, gallbladder surgery and sickness during production of the romantic comedy Something's Got to Give, from which she was fired and rehired. Six weeks after the Stern photo shoot, Monroe died from a barbiturate overdose in her L.A. home. 46 years later, Stern has revisited the series with Lindsay Lohan filling in for Monroe in a NY Magazine shoot that fastidiously replicates the original poses, lighting, and clothing. Lohan owns one of Marilyn Monroe's apartments, and said she has "a lot of Marilyn Stuff," such as a big painting of Monroe that sounds like it depicts her suicide scene, which was a gift.
