Gopi chand in Ontari

Gopichand is preparing to take off to New Zealand, to shoot for his film Ontari with Bhavana who is playing opposite to him . Three songs will be shot in the warm summer there. While the hero's character is an out-going one, various incidents leave him treading a lonely path to accomplish his goal. So, the makers feel it is an ideal title for the film. B V Ramana is directing the film and Pokuri Babu Rao is producing it under the Eetaram Movie Banner. The shooting for the talkie part is complete and the post production work is expected to be completed by January 10. The makers feel the film would be milestone in the careers of both the director and Gopichand.

Dhyeyam' directed and produced by Jayasimha Reddy on the banner of Jayasimha Productions. The audio of this movie was launched recently by Saikiran, Venumadhav, Nagabhairava Arunkumar.Devender scored music for the movie. Popular character artiste Vijaychander launched the audio and handed over the first cassette to directors' association president Sagar. Later, Sagar released the audio CDs and handed over the first piece to Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy. Producer Ramasatyanarayana, who compered the programme, says, 'Jayasimha Reddy brought out the film to explain how the god corrected the bad guys who try to cheat the people in the name of God.He is going to release the film on December 21 with 24 prints.' Keeping it aside, Venky and Pawan are willing to do a film together since many years but it never worked out. Though they expressed their willingness in public no writer approached with a subject which suits them.Some time ago there were talks that Pawan and Venky will act in a Tamil remake but that original film bombed and it never happened. Nagarjuna and Vishnu starrer movie directed by P.Vasu and produced by Dr.Mohan Babu has been titled as Krishnarjuna.The title of the film was selected by the team after conducting a SMS contest. 1.8 lac voters participated in the contest and the majority of them selected "Krishnarjuna" as the title. Out of 1.8 lacs, 7 people were selected as winners and they would get the opportunity to release the songs of the album at the audio release function of Krishnarjuna.Mitrama title got the 2nd place and actor Vishnu told the reporters that the title Mitrama will be reserved for his future film. Mamta Mohandas is the lead lady of the film. The film would hit the theatres by the end of January 2008 or early Feb.
