Kanye’s New Album Being Released As Soon As November

Kanye has just announced that he is going to release his new album, 808s & Heartbreak, in the middle of November I CHANGED MY ALBUM TO NOVEMBER SOMETHING CAUSE I FINISHED THE ALBUM AND I FELT LIKE IT.. I WANT YALL TO HEAR IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE He announced this news via his blog this afternoon. This is kind of odd to me, I wonder if he is doing this to avoid confrontation with fidy or is he wants to quickly unload this album and get it over with because November is a bit sudden, but that’s just my thoughts Via Kanyes Blog

T-Mobile and Google Unveil First Android Phone

I have always been a fan of the underdog, and now that Apple has a choke hold on the smartphone market I have been waiting for something to through it off it’s balance. That something could be Google Android, granted it is only a operating system for a phone, but It can change how phones are made and how they perform. The first phone using this system is T-Mobile ’s G1 and it was unveiled this morning at an event in New York. Engadget got to experience it first hand. What makes Android exciting to me is that it is open-source, to regular people that means anyone can design and program for it which would potentially make the catalog for applications and games huge. There are a lot more exciting features, but that’s what sticks out to me.

Obama Gets Heckled By Black Group

This past Friday Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama held a rally at the University of Miami that was briefly interrupted after a dozen or so protestors began to wave homemade signs. The group of mostly black men held signs that read, “Black s against Obama”, “Jesse Jackson hates Obama”, “Obama for abortions”, “Obama for gay marriage” and “Obama endorsed by the KKK.” The protestors are said to be part of a Miami based group called “Michael Warns”. The crowd of over 5,000 people at the event shouted the hecklers down by chanting “Yes we can! Yes we can!” Obama paused briefly and tried to calm the crowd down by saying, “Hey young people out there - it’s no problem for you to put your signs up, but let everybody - let me finish what I have to say, alright?” The group was escorted out shortly afterwards by security and with Obama saying, “Alright guys, see ya! Ice Cube Regrets Not Doing Menace II Society

During a recent interview with Hustler, Ice Cube told the magazine what movies he wished passed up and what movies he wished he didn’t. Not surprisingly, the one he wished he passed up on was John Carpenter’s Ghost of Mars which was completely bashed by critics for its lacking story line and extremely cheap special effects. The movie he wished he hadn’t passed up was Menace II Society . After his classic role in the movie Boyz II Men, the Hughes brothers came knocking on his door wanting to cast him as the role of O-Dawg (Lorenz Tate’s Character) but he declined. “I had just done Boyz N The Hood and Trespass (and) I didn’t want to get stuck playing just characters from the ‘hood … That’s the only one (movie) I said, ‘Damn, that’s a good movie I wish I had been in.’” I think he would of played a nice O-Dawg, we can never know, because he passed it up. There’s this huge debate going on right now about how low a person can wear pants, and it’s gotten to the point where a Florida judge struck down a law banning baggy pants completely, calling the measure “unconstitutional”. The measure was initially approved by voters, and voted on last March, after 5,000 signatures were obtained so that the measure could be added to the ballot. Despite the approval of the measure, the issue didn’t reach the lime light until a 17-year-old was arrested in Rivier Beach in southeast Florida for wearing pants that exposed his underwear. The teen was then jailed overnight. The judge in the case, Judge Paul Moyle said this,”We’re not talking about exposure of buttocks. No!
