Police have confirmed that sleeping pills were discovered near the body of Australian actor Heath Ledger , 28, when he was found dead in a Manhattan apartment today.New York Police Department deputy commissioner Paul Browne said the Oscar-nominated actor's body was found naked and face-down on the floor of his bedroom by a housekeeper about 3.30pm Tuesday.This is such sad and shocking news to hear. R.I.P. And my thoughts go out to his family and friends....

My Uncle is sick :(

I received an email from his brother saying he might have stomach cancer. I might be going back to the states soon to see him. He will hear back from the doctor on Friday about his condition. I'm sure he will be fine, but I would like to ask for all of my readers to pray for him and if you don't pray, just wish that he would be OK. Thank you :)

Back from Lang Suan finally!

I just got back and I was thinking of updating my blog with a bunch of pictures and videos, but I'm too tired to do it right now. The update will be tomorrow I promise! It was the first time for me to eat random tropical fish.Thai people eay ANY fish they catch no matter what type of fish it is. Where we fished the water was a pretty blue, but the beach needed some cleaning up. It was not a tourist type beach which was good. I got a good sunburn which then ended up tanning. I took some pictures with my new Sony camera that i reviewed earlier on in this blog. The closeup feature is amazing. I will add more tomorrow. See you guys soon!

Lithium Batteries Banned From Checked Bags

Starting Jan. 1, airline passengers will no longer be allowed to pack loose lithium batteries in checked luggage, the U.S. Transportation Department's Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration warned late last week.Instead, passengers will be required to take loose batteries with them in carry-on baggage, packed in plastic bags. The new regulation, which will go into effect in order to lessen the risk of lithium battery fires, won't apply to lithium batteries that are already installed in electronic devices, such as laptops, cell phones, and cameras. Those can be checked in.Additionally, only two spare rechargeable lithium batteries will be allowed on airplanes per passenger in carry-on bags.The international rule will become U.S. law on Tuesday.Haha what? Yes ladies and gentlemen please be careful with those evil lithium batteries!

Tonight I will be going to Central World Plaza to celebrate the year 2551 or 2008. I hope nothing happens like it did last year which resulted in 3 people dying. Bombs exploded all over Bangkok last year. I hope there isn't a repeat. I'm sure me and Nok will have alot of fun tonight and into the early morning hours of Jan 01 2008. Happy New Year to all :)

First of all I would like to introduce you to Thailand...Bangkok that is. Voted the hottest city in the world. In winter time the temperature here is about 93 daytime and about 85 nighttime. During the summer it's about 110 degrees daytime and 99 nighttime. Very hot!! In this blog I will be reviewing different areas of Thailand and also reviewing certain products that I come across here. I am 27 years old and American. I hail from Virginia Beach, Virginia and have spent about 1 year in Thailand. Nice to meet you :)
