So, the latest bb9 buzz is the new big brother promo commercial that aired this afternoon on CBS. I was watching the tube and heard 'The Big Brother houseguests are moving in and we've matched each of them with a soulmate' ---to which, I stopped, hit rewind on the dvr and said 'what?!?!'. After a few weeks of promoting the Big Brother 9 as 14 houseguests and more secrets than you can count on their bb9 promos, CBS began airing a new commercial last night promoting the number of houseguests to be at 16. Of course, the rumor mill is running wild as to why. Perhaps Big Brother 9 USA will indeed follow the path of a previous French version of Big Brother and we'll see our first set of triplets. With only 9 days until the premiere of Big Brother 9, (only 9 days!)--we'll take this moment to remind you to tune into the second season of Big Brother After Dark airing on Showtime Sho2 February 12, 2008 at 12am/est-3am/est. After watching BBAD last season, I'd have to say the more interesting times are when there are still quite a few big brother houseguests still in the house. Once the number has dwindled, so does the entertainment. So, be sure and tune in early in the season to see some of the fun. Last year's cast of Big Brother houseguests brought Zuma, Zuma into the spotlight. Looking forward to seeing what new game and mischief the new batch of BB9 houseguests may bring to the table. If you don't have SHO2, don't worry! We'll be bringing you some of the best moments from Big Brother After Dark. Only ten more days until the premiere of the new season of Big Brother ! Big Brother 9 has been a highly anticipated season by all true big brother fans and former houseguests as well. For our UK readers:The new season of Big Brother 9 USA is set to air on channel E4 in the UK starting Thursday, February 14, 2008--good news for UK Big Brother fans!Big Brother USA Season 9 will be airing on digital channel E4 in the UK. E4 is the channel home to Big Brother UK spin off shows such as 'Big Brother's Little Brother', 'Big Brother's Big Mouth' and 'Big Brother: Diary Room Uncut' as well as endless amounts of Big Brother live feed footage.The new season of Big Brother 9 USA starts Tuesday 12th February on CBS and the first two episodes will be shown back-to-back on E4 on the Thursday 14th February at 9pm-11pm. She talked some about the big brother live feeds and how watching the bb houseguests 24 hours a day can be interesting, as you never really know what you're going to see there. BB9 houseguests --could they really have a secret?

There's still a huge debate whether this season of Big Brother 9 is indeed going to be based on dirty little secrets. Is the theme song just a ploy to throw us off? Or is it a real clue? Do the new houseguests have secrets?It's possible based on what very few clues we've gotten so far that this season of Big Brother 9 could be somewhat based on a French version of Big Brother-- a show called Secret Story. The french version of BB had 15 houseguests, each with a secret--part of the game was to guess the other's secret to earn more money. Each week a houseguest secret was revealed to the viewing audience as well. There were also hidden rooms in the BB house-one being the Chamber of Secrets. (reference to Harry Potter --and as already indicated in another post, the music on the live feeds right now is very reminiscent of Harry Potter)----The secrets of these houseguests were:One of the contestants wants a sex change.* One of the contestants has lost 50 kilograms. While there's still no official word on any of the BB9 Houseguests, there are certainly enough message board rumors to keep us entertained until we do know something and I promised I'd get them to you.First of all, several people have reported being asked 'do you have a secret no one knows about?' at their BB9 auditions, leading us to believe that the theme 'Dirty Little Secrets' is indeed a go.At Survivor Sucks there's a report that a transgender is rumored to be a BB9 Houseguest. The latest promo commercial for CBS Big Brother 9, which premieres February 12, 2008, indicates there will be 14 houseguests in the big brother house. (see link below).If the pattern from past seasons is followed, CBS will most likely reveal the identity of at least some of the BB houseguests around the week of February 4, 2008. (possibly sooner in a promo commercial or two so stayed tuned to the blog as we'll post news as soon as we hear!)Evel Dick has just announced he will be doing promos for the new Big Brother After Dark on Showtime which also begins February 12, 2008. Given the ratings that Dick Donato brought to the last season of Big Brother and Allison Grodner's promise to pull out all the stops for the new winter season, I'd not be at all surprised to see a guest appearance from Evel Dick on this season of BB9. CBS has announced that Big Brother 9 will begin on February 12th (a Tuesday). The schedule will be a bit different that last season with episodes airing on Tuesdays, Wednesdays (instead of Thursdays) and Sundays. Big Brother 9 will continue with it's three times a week schedule going up against American Idol on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Big Brother 9 will be available on the live feeds 24/7 as always! So.....the rumor mill is going strong. There's been an article stating that this guy is one of the BB9 houseguests. Hmmmmm........I'm not sure. I'm not completely convinced just yet. It seems to go against all the rules for becoming a houseguest----I guess, we'll see. For now though.....here's the lowdown. Word is James Rhine will be hosting Big Brother 9's Premier Kick-Off at Kail Harbick's Holiday Farm Resort in Oregon. Big Brother alumni attending this very special event is long and reported to be growing on a daily basis. At this time the confirmed are, James Rhine, Kail Harbick, Jen Johnson, Nick from BB8, Howie Gordon, Kaysar Ridha, Rachel Plencner, and Jennifer Vasquez. This is to be the first event of this kind ever planned, organized and put on by a past Big Brother house guest. Usually these events are planned by Big Brother or one of the supporting Big Brother web sites. With James and Kail being the hosts, this event will probably rise above anything we have seen in the past. It is going to be an interesting one!
