Nintendo owns the video game market at the moment, but Microsoft's Xbox 360 division isn't doing that bad either.Despite announcing disappointing sales overall as a company, the Xbox unit was a bright spot this past quarter for Microsoft, which is now just one quarter shy of posting its first annual Xbox profit.The company posted a divisional profit of $89 million for the three month period ending in March, citing brisk sales of Xbox 360, Halo 3, Xbox Live service fees, and 360 accessories. Last year, the company was deep in the red for the same period.It was "an outstanding Xbox quarter,'' said analyst Peter Misek in a statement to Bloomberg. Developer Criterion Games on Wednesday announced that Burnout Paradise will be getting playable street bikes and sundown driving, courtesy of a third expansion pack due this August. Sweet nightrider, bro. For the first time ever, Burnout players will be able to drive with one headlight as opposed to the traditional two found on automobiles.The software updated, known as the Davis expansion, is expected this August and will include exclusive game modes and locations to optimize the bike riding experience. Night driving will also be introduced with the same update.A total of three expansion packs will be made available this year for Burnout Paradise, including the above mentioned Davis update. In a media roundtable on Thursday, venerable game designer Shigeru Miyamoto said downloadable updates could be coming to Wii Fit.Miyamoto looking fit at an NYC demoAccording to Miyamoto, Nintendo might consider plans to update the Wii Fit channel with nutritional data by way of a download. The additional functionality, not launching with software on May 19, would then be used to further slim fatty gamers.In terms of inspiration, Miyamoto said the game was inspired several years ago while looking at graphs of his weight.
