First Look at Set of Bucky Covington's New Video
2007-09-26 04:11:00 Photo ©Ballance Moto XBucky Covington was at Balance MX Motocross near Bowling green KY today working on the video for his new hit single, It's Good To Be Us. Bucky said in an interview with WBKO "Me and my twin brother use to race motocross when we were little. The song doesn't have anything to do with motocross. It's high energy, the song is high energy and motocross is high energy,". He was not allowed to race the bikes, stating that he had a stunt double. "They won't let me do anything, they won't even let me crank a motorcycle up. I can't blame them a bit because every time I crank a bike up something happens," Covington added.The article goes on to say the video should be finished in about a month. It is an oldie but a goodie.Bucky is in Bowling Green, KY today to shoot the video for his new single, It's Good To Be Us which is moving up the mediabase weighted chart and lands this morning at #39. Several Buckaneers will be on hand as extras in the video so we cannot wait to hear all the recaps!Assuming the rest of the week is devoted to rest and shooting other portions of the video, Bucky has no concerts until September 30th when he is scheduled to appear at the Big Spring Jam in Huntsville, AL. The 3 day event promises an eclectic line up of artists sure to please attendees no matter what their favorite genre is. A big thanks to Dixie for making us aware of this a few days ago and to Bucky's myspace for confirming the news that the shoot will actually take place right outside Bowling Green, KY.According to Bucky's blog, "You could be an extra in the crowd for the video shoot! Video shoot takes place this Tuesday night, September 25th from 7:00 to 11:00 pm about 10 miles outside of Bowling Green Kentucky. According to an article in Aiken Today, the artists scheduled to appear are Dierks Bentley, Jo Dee Messina, Blake Shelton, Van Zant, Bucky Covington and Eric Church. The story goes on to mention that, "The first thing we do when we're putting this thing together is say, 'What is our wish list? Who would we love to have?' Keep requesting, as you never know when your station may begin playing it. One of my local stations I am hoping to get to feature it on their Hop it or Drop it weekly battle between new songs. 2007-08-27 23:32:00 Have a new computer yay! As you can see there is a photobucket problem with bandwidth on images. I have never had a problem before but when I looked today I was averaging 21000 hits (why I don't know lol) so people are obviously linking from my codes.I have tons of things there other than just Bucky stuff such as avatars etc so guess that must be it. I will leave images where they are as it is free lol but have started a new photobucket that is private and will be getting all my images uploaded there for the blog and my myspace etc. So it will be tomorrow or the next day before I am back. The single is holding at 5 on the weighted Mediabase chart as of this post, but a few above him and behind him have possibly stalled so we can make a move now if we all try to get in a few requests. I have been waiting so long for this one, as it was the first time I didn't have to travel to see him perform. This was also my first time seeing Bucky with his band. I was not disappointed.My mother and I both attended the Meet and Greet before the show (a big thanks to Laurianne for calling me to let me know they were doing it early! I love when us Buccaneers get to meet up on the road) I told him about having Team Covington and he said, "Oh yeah? Are you still having fun doing it?" Of course!Bucky took the stage for his concert to chants of Bucky! Bucky! Bucky! after a local DJ introduced him and mentioned this was the largest crowd in the festivals 75 hear history! Very impressive considering this festival once hosted Garth Brooks back when he had only 2 hits under his belt.Bucky performed songs from his CD as well as all the covers his die hard fans have come to expect.
