Great disappointment for the people expectations of vadivelu's Indiralogath

Beginning with New Year, Indiralogathil Na. Azhagappan had great expectations on the entire masses since Vadivelu had proved himself to be an excellent actor with Imsai Arasan 23m Pulikesi. But it was a great disappointment for all the audiences who watched this movie as they came out of theatres yelling at this flick…The film disapproves of to be a perfect entertainer and lacks pace in screenplay along with proper narration. Also there is nothing to specially to point on Vadivelu’s performance for he has been coming up with same performance and he is not apt to play hero role….Production cost for this film was Rs. 7 Crores and distribution rights were done for Rs. 10 Crore. Though Seventh Channel Manickam is on the safer part with Rs. 3 Crore of profit, distributors are greatly disappointed with the film’s opening.

Popular singer Shankar Mahadevan has been awarded this year’s Swaralaya-Kairali-Jesudas Award. The playback singer, P Dakshinamoothy, has been selected for the contribution to Malayalam film music. The awards that were announced last month, were given away by playback singer K.J. Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan will now join hands with the Walt Disney Productions, who are expected to produce his forthcoming film ‘Marma Yogi’.Walt Disney Productions, which recently tied up with Yash Raj Film s for a full-length animated feature film called ‘Roadside Romeo’, wants to expand its operations across the country. So they have decided to start a venture with the versatile actor cum filmmaker.The Kamal-Walt Disney venture will be co-produced by Bharath Bala, who produced A. R. Rahman’s patriotic music video Vande Mataram. ‘Marma Yogi’ will also bring Kamal and Rahman together after a long gap.’Marma Yogi’ will be a period film, set in the seventh century, which will have erstwhile Bollywood heartthrob Hema Malini.Kamal and Hema Malini had earlier teamed up in ‘Hey Ram’. Big B has bought some land from private farmers in the district’s Daulatpur village, about 40 km from state capital Lucknow, on which he is setting up a high school for girls. He will lay the foundation stone for the school on January 27. Noted director K Balachander released a documentary on the Former President of India, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam titled - A Little Dream , at Narada Gana Sabha. The documentary has been directed and scripted by P Dhanapal and produced by Minveli Media Works.This 60-minute CD documentary film, capturing the journey of former President A P J Abdul Kalam’s life from Rameswaram to Rastrapathi Bhavan has actor Shobana playing the lead role in the film for which Dr Kalam has given an exclusive interview.The documentary ends with a visual presentation of a poem “A song of Youth”, written by the former president. Producer Oscar Ravichandiran has complained against director Gautham Menon for exceeding the budget of their forthcomming movie Vaaranam Aayiram. Vaaranam Aayiram is the movie directed by Goutham Menon with Surya, Sameera Reddy and Divya in the lead roles and produced by Oscar Films, V.Ravichandran.Initially the buget of the movie was fixed to 10.5 crores. But after the shooting proceeded director Gautham Vasudeva Menon refused to proceed further without an additional 3.5 crores and now the budget is at 14 crores.Hence the producer has lodged a complaint in Producers’ Council against the director. He has said that he has difficulting getting the 3.5 crore extra demanded by the director.
