Kyuss/Queens of the Stone Age is a split EP which was released in December 1997. The first three songs are performed by Kyuss and the last three songs by guitarist Josh Homme's next band, Queens of the Stone Age , and is widely considered to be Queen's first release.This rare, out-of-print CD includes a Kyuss cover of the song 'Into the Void' by Black Sabbath. 'If Only Everything' is an early raw version of the song 'If Only', which appeared on Queens of the Stone Age's eponymous debut album. This disc also contains the original version of 'Born to Hula' which would later be re-recorded as 'Born to Hula 2000' and appear as a b-side on one edition of the 'Lost Art of Keeping a Secret' single, and later as a track on the Stone Age Complications EP. 'Spiders and Vinegaroons' would would not see anouther release, though it was used as the song played over the PA before many of their early concerts.
