Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair photos cause uproar

Miley Cyrus, the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, has caused quite a stir with her recent Vanity Fair photo shoot. One photo shows her with satin draped around her, while the other shows her across her dad’s lap and bearing her middrift. The star of the “Hannah Montana” show has now said she is embarrassed of the photo shoot. Even Shock Jock Howard Stern says the photos are “creepy”. Cyrus is currently age 15 and will have to change her image at some point in the next 5 to 10 years. This is probably just the beginning. Drunk driver parks at police station

(Reuters) Police in the western Canadian town of Wetaskiwin didn’t have to do much work when they arrested a drunk driver at the weekend — he had parked his car next to their offices and wandered inside. Police discovered the man as they drove by early on Saturday morning to respond to an unrelated call. Although the police office was locked, the lobby was open. “There was a vehicle parked about 10 feet outside our front door. The gentleman had walked into the front lobby and he was displaying many indications of being intoxicated,” Constable Mark Scheck said on Wednesday. “So at that point we did take him into custody … it’s pretty unusual,” he told Reuters by phone from Wetaskiwin, some 45 miles south of Edmonton, Alberta. Roy Scheider Dead at 75

Roy Scheider passed away on Sunday, February 10 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Scheider was a two time Oscar nominated actor for 1971’s The French Connection and also the 1979 film All That Jazz. Roy Scheider lived in Sag Harbor, New York with his wife Brenda Siemer. Scheider ultimately died due to a staph infection. He had suffered for years fighting multiple myeloma. Roy Scheider was most widely known for his starring role in the 1975 blockbuster Jaws. Roy was pretty much a private man who was involved in a number of community projects up to his death including Hayground School in Bridgehampton, dedicated to creating an innovative, culturally diverse learning environment for local children.
