Here is a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of "I Decided" that Solo posted on HSJ. I must commend her and director Melina for this video! First of all, the song is hot and then they took it up another level by creating a video that says something. It embodies Solange's love of art and also pays homage to 60s vibe that the song carries. It is a wonderful ride, and one of the most creative videos released in 2008. Pick up Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams on August 26th.

I did not watch the 2008 MTV Movie awards, but i wish i could have attended the West Hollywood Target and Converse after party, because my girl M.I.A. hit up the performance stage. In her latest video blogs (around the 6:30 mark in the first video) Michelle Williams addresses how she feels about people commenting about her weight. She acknowledges the fact that she has lost the "freshmen 15" she had when she first joined Destiny's Child, but that she is indeed healthy. She claims to be naturally thin, and threatens anyone who "tells her to eat a two piece and a biscuit one more time!" I can relate to her, it's hard for us ectomorphs to gain weight! Solange has long blogged to fans on her Myspace page, but the singer has recently taken the big leap and started Hadley Street Journal to support her new album. On the blog she checks in with fans and lets them know what she is doing, and also shares the things that inspire her. I'm really starting to dig Solo, but someone needs to tap her on the shoulder and let her know that Hadley is spelled incorrectly when the blog pops up on a tab. Can someone please explain to me why Christina Milian attended the 56th Annual BMI Pop Awards at The Beverly Wilshire ? I mean she still does not have a record deal right? Ugly Betty star America Ferrera was very chic as she arrived for her appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman" at the Ed Sullivan Theater in NYC:Zoe Saldana was one of MANY beauties to attend Rogan's debut for Barneys New York in Beverly Hills.Lately, Joy Bryant refuses to wear makeup in public, and she looks amazing! How many women in Hollywood would dare show up without tons of makeup to mask how they truly look? I think i'm in love-Gabrielle Union and Sanaa Lathan also attended.Last, but not least, models Alek Wek and Iman attended The 30th Annual AAFA American Image Awards at NYC's Grand Hyatt Hotel:Susie Castillo from MTV on the right.

I knew this song would be a hit the first time i heard it. Congratulations to Rihanna, today she scored her third Number 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100:Rihanna's "Take a Bow" makes a near-record-breaking jump on the Hot 100 this week to overtake Leona Lewis' four-week No. 1, "Bleeding Love." Despite Diddy's lack of effort to promote these ladies, they still rise. Zahara and Angie (Shiloh was there to) were all spotted having girls day out while shopping in Monaco. I see they finally decided that Zahara was to big to be carried around, but Shiloh has reached that point as well. Angie knows that that big-headed child is heavy. After she pops out this baby [insert Mexican joke here] that brings the household child count to five i believe. Story time! My friends and i woke up this morning (after last night's graduation celebrations), and decided to go to Waffle House [dangerous we know] for breakfast. We get there and everything is typical: the local hicks, the questionable cleanliness, and a waitress with a gold grill. I order my meal and a cup of water, but the water sits on the table until i can get my hands on a straw [i don't drink out of W.H. cups].Well, when i look into the cup...tell me why there are three...count them...THREE! baby roaches floating on TOP. I am DEAD at this point, and can do nothing but laugh. It doesn't help that i spot ANOTHER roach crawling on the wall two minutes later, and that my friend also has roach water. For some reason, my friends decide that they want to stay [hunger makes one do crazy things] and how about both my waffle and hash browns come to me burnt.
