The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards is shaping up to be one of the best awards shows of this year.  Performer Jay-Z was spotted entering Radio City Music Hall to prepare for his performance rehearsal.  Other performers include Beyonce, Green Day, P!nk, Taylor Swift, Muse, Lady Gaga, and Wale.  Also, Janet Jackson will lead a tribute for her brother Michael. Kim Zolciak's [Real Housewives of Atlanta] long-awaited single, "Tardy For the Party " is packaged and ready to go!  Kim reached out to co-star Kandi Burruss to produce the single, and Khandi is also featured on the background vocals.  "Tardy For the Party" cracked the top 10 on the iTunes dance charts, and Nene's 16 bars have yet to be added!  On her blog, Kim wrote that she will soon be performing the song live, and i can not hate on the situation.  This track WILL be added to my party playlist (...who gone check me boo?).  imagery| pretty on the outside

Fellas, I did it. I let HER (J, one of my very best friends) drag me out to Sex and the City: the movie. I tried with all my might, but I actually found the movie somewhat interesting. Well?more funny than interesting; the comedic elements are well done throughout. If any of you guys are still facing pressure from any HER to see the movie, here are the top three downfalls according to Quick:Sara Jessica Parker?s face. I'm not sure why, but the director felt a need to include tons of close ups of Sara JP, and one includes a make-out that comes damn near close to looking like two guys making out. Gargamel from the Smurfs anyone?The female writing perspective. Guys will often find themselves disagreeing with the logic of the foursome. They are not very understanding or forgiving women, and this can be somewhat annoying.Jennifer Hudson?s performance. Coming off of an Oscar winning performance, one would expect better acting from J Hud, but she just doesn...

N.E.R.D'S "Seeing Sounds" Hollywood release party was hosted by Zune at the Roosevelt Hotel yesterday. I'm completely in love with their new music and will certainly be picking up my copy. Here is a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of "I Decided" that Solo posted on HSJ. I must commend her and director Melina for this video! First of all, the song is hot and then they took it up another level by creating a video that says something. It embodies Solange's love of art and also pays homage to 60s vibe that the song carries. It is a wonderful ride, and one of the most creative videos released in 2008. Pick up Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams on August 26th.

In her latest video blogs (around the 6:30 mark in the first video) Michelle Williams addresses how she feels about people commenting about her weight. She acknowledges the fact that she has lost the "freshmen 15" she had when she first joined Destiny's Child, but that she is indeed healthy. She claims to be naturally thin, and threatens anyone who "tells her to eat a two piece and a biscuit one more time!" I can relate to her, it's hard for us ectomorphs to gain weight! On the blog she checks in with fans and lets them know what she is doing, and also shares the things that inspire her.
