Over the weekend, Rihanna got her philanthropy work in. She kicked things off by performing at a benefit concert at Chicago's Vision Nightclub:It looked like she was having tuns of fun on stage in her interesting outfit. I wonder if her style is going to tone back down in the future, or if this is a look she plans to stick with for a while? Anywho, she held a meet and greet for some of the children that she was performing for after the show was over:...i love to see our stars giving back.

Michelle Williams is pushing ahead with promo for her upcoming album Unexpected. Toward the end of last week her official website was updated with new photos and news information. I must admit that Michelle is looking quite fine in these photos; i love the edgier, darker look. I'm disappointed that the first single is "Break the Dawn " instead of "Stop This Car," but i'll take what i can get:According to her website, "Break the Dawn" will premiere on People.com on Monday, March 31st! I am assuming that a video will soon follow. I'm excited for Michelle and wish her the best of luck. Mariah has been going hard in the gym. By no means has Mimi ever looked big, but in recent years she has blessed us with the thick . A few weeks ago, i introduced you guys to Beth Ditto, my new favorite hot mess, from the band Gossip. Well over the weekend, she performed her version of "Freakum Dress" (not really, just look at the dress and entertain the thought) at Shepherds Bush Empire in London:I'm really at a loss for words. And suddenly, i don't want to eat the Whooper Jr. with cheese directly to the left of my computer. She sort-of reminds me of what Amy Whinehouse would look like if she kicked the meth, and turned to comfort eating. Good news everyone...i made it through my 21st birthday with no major damages being done. Only problem was, i woke up this morning completely nude. How many of you guys tuned in for BET's Rip the Runway this past Tuesday? Well, i did, and i must say that the show was NOT at all hot. The models looked like they were snatched straight off the streets, or were already on BET's payroll. The show re-airs tonight if anyone is interested, but i'll save you some time and give you the best moment from the show.Zac Posen had the best segment in my opinion. Discipline moved over 180,000 copies last week. Those numbers a low for Janet, but it got her the top spot never-the-less. I bought the album, and i give it an 8/10. Anyone watch the season premiere of FX's Dirt last night?I did. The show revolves around Lucy, the editor-at-large for tabloid (Dirt Now). The only reason i got into the first season of the show is because it replaced Nip/Tuck (my favorite show) after it's fourth season ended. Last night, Dirt was a bit dry in spots, but when things climaxed, i was very impressed. I see myself tuning in on Sunday nights, and i recommend that you guys do the same if your as interested in the business of "celebrity" as i am. Let me know how you like it!

Greetings to all the weekend readers. Things have been slow around here lately, because i'm incredibly busy. Not to worry, because the thing that's been tying up my time for the past month ends tomorrow. Thank God. In the mean time, nothing helps me get by better than a nice scoop of Olsen:My Mary-Kate(R) and the other one were among the young Hollywood elite who came out to see the Chanel fashion show this past week in Paris. They look like annoying summer flies in these glasses,...i wanted to run and get the swatter when i ran across these pics.:Kanye/Alexis + Rihanna were also in attendance. Yesterday, pop stars Jordin Sparks + Ashlee Simpson appeared on TRL in attempts to salvage their current projects.Jordin's "Tattoo" was a top 10 single, but her album sales aren't reflective of her American Idol win. Whereas Ashlee's new single, "Outta My Head," isn't catching any momentum. I feel for artists who are struggling in the industry...constant push backs and poor album sales are haunting many-a-talented artist not that Ashlee can sing or anything, just sayingSnoop was also there promoting his new album Ego Trippin' (due March 11th ), and his smash hit "Sensual Seduction."
