Can someone please explain to me why Christina Milian attended the 56th Annual BMI Pop Awards at The Beverly Wilshire ? I mean she still does not have a record deal right? [I actually took time out to research. She is currently signed to Myspace Records] Still, in these photos she MUST be wearing Del Bryant?s (President and CEO of BMI) metal that he received, because I HIGHLY doubt that A.M. to P.M. earned her an award. Doesn't Tameka's smile just melt your heart and make you want to hug someone? Well, when i saw this photo i got the instant urge to throw Holy Water on my monitor, but i digress. Usher and his husband wife (plus their kid) were on set as he taped some MTV Promos at a private recording studio in New York City. I guess he will be the latest musician to take over MTV for the week prior to an album release (Here I Stand drops on the 27th).Diddy is pictured with top model winners Jaslene Gonzalez + CariDee English at "Diddy's Den" during the Grand Opening Weekend Celebration at MGM Grand in Ledyard, CT. However, the real gem of the night is his conversation with Kim Kardashian:...I wonder if he asked her if he could double up with her cute sister? Ugly Betty star America Ferrera was very chic as she arrived for her appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman" at the Ed Sullivan Theater in NYC:Zoe Saldana was one of MANY beauties to attend Rogan's debut for Barneys New York in Beverly Hills.Lately, Joy Bryant refuses to wear makeup in public, and she looks amazing! How many women in Hollywood would dare show up without tons of makeup to mask how they truly look? I think i'm in love-Gabrielle Union and Sanaa Lathan also attended.Last, but not least, models Alek Wek and Iman attended The 30th Annual AAFA American Image Awards at NYC's Grand Hyatt Hotel:Susie Castillo from MTV on the right.

I knew this song would be a hit the first time i heard it. Congratulations to Rihanna, today she scored her third Number 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100:Rihanna's "Take a Bow" makes a near-record-breaking jump on the Hot 100 this week to overtake Leona Lewis' four-week No. 1, "Bleeding Love." Despite Diddy's lack of effort to promote these ladies, they still rise. I see they finally decided that Zahara was to big to be carried around, but Shiloh has reached that point as well. Angie knows that that big-headed child is heavy. Story time! My friends and i woke up this morning (after last night's graduation celebrations), and decided to go to Waffle House [dangerous we know] for breakfast. We get there and everything is typical: the local hicks, the questionable cleanliness, and a waitress with a gold grill. I order my meal and a cup of water, but the water sits on the table until i can get my hands on a straw [i don't drink out of W.H. cups].Well, when i look into the cup...tell me why there are three...count them...THREE! baby roaches floating on TOP. I am DEAD at this point, and can do nothing but laugh. It doesn't help that i spot ANOTHER roach crawling on the wall two minutes later, and that my friend also has roach water. For some reason, my friends decide that they want to stay [hunger makes one do crazy things] and how about both my waffle and hash browns come to me burnt. Over the weekend, Denzel Washington was on location in the Streets of Manhattan for The Taking of Pelham 1:23. On the heels of two leaks ("Everybody Nose" & "Spaz") from their upcoming album, Seeing Sounds, a 1 minute sneak preview for N*E*R*D's "Everybody Nose" has surfaced. I like the homemade/underground feel of the video, it's what this group is all about. This is one of my favorite songs right now, and i can't wait for their album to drop on June 10th. An energetic Janelle Monae performed at the Hollywood Key Club last night. It looks like Diddy is trying to get her name out there before any major album release. Her EP, Metropolis Suite 1: The Chase, enjoyed critical acclaim last year. Because she is such a DIFFERENT artist, i am glad that Bad Boy is breaking her in before throwing her out there with all of the other fish in the sea, so to speak:Diddy, Big Boi of Outkast, and Janice Combs all came out to support Janelle. I try AND try to show positive images of Amy Winehouse. But DAMN, she really makes life hard:The ever impressive paparazzi caught up with her while she visited some friends in Henley, Oxfordshire. She is supposed to be finishing up the theme song for the next James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. It seems that the latest trend to combat the illegal download epidemic infecting the music industry is to offer fans free music. Just last week, one of my favorite bands, Coldplay, offered (for an entire week) a free download of their first single, "Violet Hill," on their main website. I think that this was an excellent marketing strategy to promote their new album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. Today, as i was checking Billboard, i saw that rockers Nine Inch Nails have taken it a step further: "Nine Inch Nails, in a surprise move, posted access to a free download of its complete new album, "The Slip," on its Web site this morning (May 5). The ten-track album is available in several formats, including MP3 and high-quality lossless formats, via a link on NIN.com.
