Zazen Meditation    Zazen is another Buddhist meditation. Zazen literally means sitting meditation. This is a seasoned meditator's meditation. It is a bit difficult for the novices, as it requires correct posture. Folded legs and hands with straight but relaxed back. Nose aligned with the naval and ears square with the shoulder. Eyes should be half closed and half open. Breathing is required from the hara center.Now, focus on your breathing. Watch your breath come in and go out. Focus on your breath improves your concentration and develops one pointed attention. With practice, all the tension from the body is released and body experiences a sort of relaxation. If you think about your deadlines at work while eating dessert or you keep thinking about your boss while on holiday, your mind seriously needs to learn to be here and now. When your mind is wandering all the time, you are missing out on life. You can not do anything fully and wholeheartedly. You deprive yourself of the pleasure of being in the moment and enjoying the activity.  Though mindfulness is the quality emphasised by Buddhism, people belonging to any faith can practice mindfulness.
