A decidedly un-Molly Weasleyesque Julie Walters attended the Becoming Jane premiere tonight. She appears to have earrings crafted from giant screws and sort of ended up looking like a cross between Anne Robinson and Germaine Greer in this trouser suit but hey! At least she’s dressed!

Daniel gets shy!

It would seem that Dani el Radcliffe is suddenly, and selectively, incredibly shy about exactly who he shows his broomstick to. He’s apparently begged the rest of the HP cast not to come and see Equus because he doesn’t want them to see him naked and, we guess, endure the on set giggles that would naturally ensue every time he got astride a broomstick. Rupert Grint is apparently hugely relieved, saying “He told us he didn’t want us at the play. I was glad because it would be a little weird and uncomfortable to see“.   Yup.

Firstly, it would seem Richard Griffiths has been ill with the flu and unable to perform in Equus recently, being replaced by a less than competant understudy. Flu must be going around because Maggie Smith had to miss the first preview show of The Lady of Dubuque for the same reason. Ho hum, indeed. Also, we have another snippet on the appearance of Daniel’s naughty bits (which we know you all love). A source from Canada.com reports that Radcliffe?s little Daniel is “nothing more than average”. ?Maybe it was cold up on the stage but it wasn?t anything special,? their spy says. ?When he had his back to the audience he pulled on it a bit to make it appear bigger.? And if you really need to know ? they tell us Radcliffe is uncircumcised. Laaalalalaaalaaaaaawecan’thearyouuu uuuuuuuuuuu.

Click the picture above for a closer look of a the twins, complete with deformed upper arms, and Sirius apparently conducting an imaginary orchestra.  We dare you to look at the Harry doll and not think “Equus“. That play has officially tainted everything.

A rather sloshed looking Rupert Grint made an appearance at the NME awards last night. Living up to the image portrayed by his Pistols t-shirt, he clutched not one but two beers in his hands. Anarchy! You go, girl. He was also accompanied by a rather overdressed, crisp white-shirted and jacketted and generally Backstreet Boy-ed James Phelps and his brother Oliver who turned 21 a few days ago. Yes. We can tell them apart.

Today is World Book Day. This means we should apparently all get off the internet, stop googling Radcliffe’s nudey bits and go and read a book. Ha-ha, who are they kidding? Anyway, in a poll for the top 100 books the Harry Potter series came in at number 4, making it more popular than the Bible that came in at #6.   A slightly pervy Helena Bonham Cart er (Bellatrix LeStrange) makes a comment littered with, what appears to our 5-year old minds, double-entendres about Daniel’s appearance in Equus. “Daniel Radcliffe has such balls, he really does. In every way. Good on him, I can’t think of something to make one more vulnerable than being 17, a male, having to strip off and do such a hard piece. Psychologically.”

This crazy little thing has just come to our attention. This guy is called Tommy and he wants 1 miiiillion HP fans to sign his petition to get July 21st to be proclaimed a worldwide Harry Potter Holiday . Poor, deluded guy. But you know what? If there’s drink, food and party games involving wands and Alan Rickman involved we’re all for it. Check the site here and his youtube plea here and go sign. He seems mentally unstable, who knows what he’ll do if you don’t.

It would seem JK Rowling’s lawyers were a little over enthusiastic in their comments to the press regarding JK’s supposed injunction against Ebay India. Basically, it’s as existent as a bibbering humdinger. JK was, in fact, denied an injunction back in 2004 according to Ebay India as they took the offending auctions down. Read the comments from Ebay if you enjoy entire boring explanations of things. So what’s really going on?

Equus got rave reviews and a standing ovation for Daniel. Give the kid some Oil of Olay for the next film because we’re struggling to believe he’s human let alone a 16 year old school kid. Over 450 fans were dispersed by police at the stage door of Equus as they scrambled to get Daniel Radcliffe’s autograph.  Because of you, Richard Griffiths and Jenny Agutter were physically trapped inside the theatre. While Daniel signed autographs and chatted with the U-F’s outside, Richard and Jenny had to leave via a window at the back. The director even said “‘You try to get Richard Griffiths out of a back window. It was a bit touch and go“.  “Touch”? “Shove” more like. If you’re insane enough to pop down there, firstly, take in to consideration that Daniel is signing no HP stuff, and secondly, we want a photo of Griffiths hanging off a window sill.

The untouchable godmother of the HP mafia is now suing the equally untouchable and disclaimed-to-the-max Ebay for allowing users of the Indian version of the site to do just that. This  article from Guardian sees the reporter attempting to book tables at some of London’s most exclusive restaurants under the names of famous stars. Radcliffe’s name, at best, yielded a “small table at the front” while Shilpa Shetty and Helen Mirren were the real magic words.

According to this article, parts of the next HP film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, are to be filmed in Ireland. What are they thinking!? Where is the one place in the world you wouldn’t take a cast of kids who’ve literally just turned 18 and legally free to purchase as much alcohol as they desire? Yup! The country where there are so many pubs there are no more pub licenses available. Half-blood? Half-cut more like… This should be fun.

Yes, more Equus-ness. Supposedly, after each performance of Equus, over 300 Daniel Radcliffe psychofans have been congragating at the stage door of the theatre. Apparently in order to see who can throw the most sycophancies his way in the few seconds it takes to write an autograph. It would be impressive if it wasn’t so terrifying. Billie Piper can’t wait to see Daniel Radcliffe’s willy and is apparently gagging for a front row ticket to see him naked in Equus, she revealed on the Charlotte Church show.
