Well... I am really not getting time these days. So you can't see my posts so frequently. Today again I'm here with loads of things to share with you. It's too hot here in Miami and this is the time of the year when we guys who work in restaurants have to face hard times. As I told you I'm concentrating on managing parties too these days, it makes my schedule too hectic. It's been a real blast, working with Christine. Yes, we got two opportunities to manage weddings and one for managing a birthday party. Starting from giving ideas on wedding invitations wordings and wedding announcements we did almost everything for wedding. I was in a bit lack of confidence, but it was all due to Christy 's coolest encouraging words that sprinkled some grains of inspiration in my soul. I couldn't have taken up the challenges so easily. Christine, my "Houdini", took out two beautiful stems of orchids and presented them to Rachel's mom. We thought she would also give the red roses to her, but she did not. She told me that she knew that red roses were meant for reaching out to a special person. That made me a bit more confused. I could also feel the wave of happiness in my heart... at least I didn't have to tell her that I've fallen. I thought she was smart enough to get it and brought the roses for me. I could feel that I was getting more and more impatient but could not ask for those roses from her either. She seemed completely careless about it and went on talking to Rachel and her mom. Friends... how is it going? I was a bit busy arranging Fred's birthday on May 18th. It was real fun arranging the birthday party, probably because managing birthday parties and weddings are part of my dream project. It's very much like pitching practice in the bullpen before a game. Well, I have been looking for such an opportunity for some time, and I did it with my fullest dedication. Christine was there with me and we did not allow Uncle Fred to interfere with the plans. My Dream To Own My Own Restaurant

I had a day off yesterday. I enjoyed some really delicious dishes with my parents. My father's a good cook too. I knew I was good at cooking, but, I remember when I was a kid, Dad was always the first one to step into the kitchen. He is good at it. We enjoyed Dance Like a Chicken Day (May 14th) very much. Well, the entire day was really refreshing... at least I didn't have to go out to the hospital yesterday. Rachel's mom is quite well now. Rachel's now free from stress, too.I called Christy and invited her to lunch yesterday. I figured she wouldn't come because she was tired, but she turned up. "What are ya planning to do now?" This Mothers Day was really awful for me, even though my mom gave me the most shrieking surprises ever. I am feeling bad for I couldn't give much time to my parents, John and Christine. But I could not leave Rachel alone either. We took her to the specialist who diagnosed her with mild heart attack. The good is that the condition is not so grave, as the doctor said. She is under constant cardiac rehabilitation program. John and I visited Rachel's place yesterday. We found her mom lying on the couch. Rachel said that the doctor had asked her to take a rest. Her mom's on medication... she was feeling better yesterday than the day before. "That's good news. Are there any food restrictions?" John asked. We planned to go to South Beach once again but didn't set a date. I wanted to sit with Uncle Fred, Christine and Rachel for advance planning. When I called Rachel about it, she gave me the news that she cannot join us. Her mom has been diagnosed with high blood pressure with systolic-160 and diastolic-100. I'm not a health professional; I couldn't understand how risky it could be for a person. But Rachel was quite worried about it. Friends... something really interesting happened yesterday and I cannot resist my temptation talking to you about it. I will never forget May 4th 2008. I was feeling a bit low and went for a walk yesterday but headed back home early. I was hanging on my couch with all the notes on the art of wine making that I got from Jack. We set out for South Beach at about 8:45 in the morning. My Ford and Sam's convertible were ready to go. We planned to stop at Azul's Cuisine, where I work... just to pick some snacks and drinks. I couldn't help ordering the 'Rainbow of Oysters', which is one of the best dishes at Azul's. The breathtaking view of Biscayne Bay from inside the restaurant made it feel really different from other days... probably because we were in a party mood. We followed the Bay Road and reached there by around 9:30 or so.This was the first time for me to party at South Beach.
