Desi Galaxy’s Babe of the month for March 2007 is Aishwarya Rai , and this post is part of the series of posts on Aishwarya Rai’s Biography ] Aishwarya had become the darling of India, she had offers from bollywood and after giving it some thought she appeared in Mani Ratnam’s Tamil movie Iruvar (1997). The movie was loved by film critics and studens but was a failure at the box office, it is remembered as Aishwarya Rai’s first movie. She got her first Bollywood movie in the same year with the release of Rahul Rawail’s ‘Aur Pyaar Hogaya‘. Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor’s son, Ranbir Kapoor is debuting into the bollywood with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawaryia. Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam Kapoor is also debuting from this movie which is expected to be released in November 2007. Saawaryia will be the first ever Indian movie produced by a Hollywood production house, Sony Pictures India. The movie is based on a short story ‘White Nights’ by Fyodor Dostoevsky. I feel that it is a little too complex story to be made into a bollywood movie. But you know Bhansali, he is different and zara hat ke. Ranbir Kapoor’s first movie is yet to be released but being a Kapoor, he already has offers for some big movies. Like Munna Bhai series’ director Rajkumar Hirani has signed Ranbir for a sarcastic comedy based on the education system. Rumors are around that Ranbir has also signed a role in third movie of the Dhoom series.

There are websites devoted to childhood photos of celebrities. Looking at these photos, one feels that how ordinary and innocent these stars looked when they were young. Just like you and me they had homework to do, bigger than universe problems, bad teeth and good friends. BOM - Babe of The Month Series

Sometimes we the bloggers face difficulty finding topics to blog. Sooner or later every blogger faces this situation. To combat this situation, I have started this BOM - Babe of the Month Serie s . Each month, I will select a female celebrity from the desi stardom and blog about her. These posts would typically have biographical information, news and gossip, lots of pictures, and all juicy masala. No, it is not like Playboy’s Playmate of the month series. Posts will be simpler and typical Desi Galaxy format. The first Babe in Babe of the Month series for March 2007 is Aishwarya Rai. I had a difficult time deciding this, I had the feeling that the web is so full of content about Aishwarya. She is so popular that there is probably nothing that I know about her and my readers don’t. Still the same popularity is what makes me believe that the readers of this blog would like read about Aishwarya, even if they have read this many times before. You guys love her, don’t you?
