While watching the Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday parade at home from their balcony, Angel ina and the kids saw a “walking Oscar .” Jolie apparently shouted down at the walking Oscar, Chris Cuddihee, “That’s adorable!” He yelled back to her “I’m for you, Angelina !” Cuddihee, a manager of a clothing store in town, tells Us magazine, “We happened to be walking down and we saw her open a door. I could tell it was a movie star arm coming out of there and she brought the kids out and she waved to us. I waved and I said, ‘Hey you won me!’” Cuddihee added, “That is why I wore this outfit and that made my day. We weren’t expecting to see Angelina Jolie today. Or to see Zahara and Maddox wave at us. Here’s a pic I found floating around the net showing the Jolie-Pitts out on a walk near their new home recently. I wonder if Shiloh scored any wet chips from Z while mamma wasn’t looking. They’re destined to share all sorts of slobbery things over the next couple of years. Does anybody got a guess at what my blog header picture is showing?

The New York Daily News had a piece the other day about Brad and Angelina’s dinner date at Arnaud’s in their new hometown of New Orleans. To get back home without getting pinned down by a mob, they wore party masks and beads to slip out into a crowd of pre Mardi Gras revelers. So, if you go to Mardi Gras this year, you might get lucky if you know what tattoos to look for.

Well, life goes on for Angelina. The pain of her loss remains but life does indeed march on. I’d hope people would have cut her some slack but of course some haven’t. From marriage rumors to anorexia, they just never stop. So, now the story is out that Brad and Angelina have plucked down £2m for a 6,500 square-foot attic flat near Alex anderplatz Square in Berlin. There’s all sorts of buzz going around about them moving there get away from Hollywood. Come on, it’s got to be just another piece of property to add to their collection … another home away from home. It’s a place they like to visit and where Brad has some architect friends. Angelina, though, has been talking about schools in New Orleans not Berlin.

Our prayers go out to Angelina and her brother over the loss of their mom, March eline Bertrand, who died Saturday after a long, long battle with cancer. I would trade all the fame in the world to keep my mom with me. I’m sure Angelina feels the same. Robyn at Pittwatch has provided an excellent account of the character of Marche line Bertrand. The family request that any donations should be sent here to the Women’s Cancer Research Institute.

So, the Jolie-Pitts have been playing house in New Orleans while Brad films “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” Now, a Zap2it article referencing an US Weekly piece has them staying there more permanently. “We love it there,” says Jolie. “The kids are going to go to school there. We’re really looking forward to it.” The couple recently purchased their fourth house there, a $3.5 million, six-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath mansion in the French Quarter. With their involvement with Global Green USA to help rebuild the parts of the city where Hurricane Katrina hit the worst, this makes perfect sense.

Now that things have settled down and everyone has adjusted to the baby, it’s time to get back to work. A week from this Friday, filming for Ocean’s Thirteen is supposed to start. Jennifer López has been added to cast. So, I expect Brad will start getting nightly who, what, and when quizzes from Angelina about the events of his day. It has also been announced that Angelina will have a voice part in a new DreamWorks animation film called About Kung Fu Panda. She’s cast to be the voice of Tigress, a martial-arts master. Maddox is going to think it’s so cool that his mom is a Kung Fu master. A few years ago, she was the voice of Lola in Shark Tale. To keep the Jolie-Pitt nest from being disturbed, I bet Angelina will have a home audio studio set up for her to get the job done. There is a downside to doing animated parts. As Mad, Z, and Shiloh grow up, they’ll want to see Shark Tale and About Kung Fu Panda over and over and over again. ...

Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin dropped by the Jolie-Pitts on Sunday to introduce their new baby Kingston Rossdale to Shiloh. Some are calling it a playdate. By my standards, it’s not a playdate until the kids are old enough to share a nice slobbery lego. JustJared has some pics here. You can also go to the source, WENN, to see more photos of the ATV adventure of Mad, Brad, and the other dad. These are blurry photos from a distance. Still, they are close enough that Brangelina should consider laying mines in the waters around their Malibu mansion.

More details have been disclosed about the stolen pictures. Seems like they were a couple of guys from Massachusetts. The Boston Herald states: According to police sources and Web reports, Jolie’s brother, James Haven, visited with his sister and Pitt in Namibia where the celebrity couple was awaiting the birth of their daughter Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. Haven took dozens of photos, but when he returned from Africa he discovered the camera was broken. He took it to an L.A. Best Buy for repair and the store sent it out to Precision. The Web site TMZ reports that Keyes and Beck with found the pictures in the camera and that Keyes told police that Beckwith downloaded the photos. ... complete article CBS is saying a blogger might have led detectives to the arrest. According to the NY Daily News: Law enforcement officials have arrested a suspect who allegedly swiped a bonanza of Brangelina family snaps taken in Namibia by the couple, Pitt’s spokeswoman, Cindy Guagenti, confirmed to us. Guagenti said yesterday she wasn’t at liberty to provide details of the arrest, which is believed to have taken place on Tuesday in California. I was wrong. Good. No pics will be showing up on a Russian site and another small piece of Brangelina privacy is secured.

I know the latest talk is about the stolen baby shower pictures. Despite the threat of a lawsuit, I’m sure they’ll surface on the net somewhere … probably in Russia. If they can’t stop allofmp3.com, they sure won’t be able to touch someone in Russia posting those pictures. I’ll just pity the fool who cuts and pastes them onto an American site. On a similar issue, what does everyone think of the Shiloh /Suri photo comparison? Shiloh reels in $4M while the biggest offer for Suri was around $3M. It’s so sad to start out in life with a price set on your head. I’m no fan of Cruisetology but they probably did the best thing by not selling the Suri pictures. Still it’s interesting to wonder about how “charitable” TomKat would have been if they had sold the pics considering the gauntlet Brangelina laid down. Today in New York, Madame Tussaud’s unveiled a waxed replica of Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt in a scene with her parents. This is the first time “ever” that the famed wax museum has done a model of a baby. There is one serious flaw I saw from an E-Online article: “Wax figures of Pitt and Jolie will stand proudly over their waxen daughter. Wax versions of Shiloh’s siblings, on the other hand, did not make the cut for the family tableau.” NOT GOOD. Try explaining that one to Mad!
