Classic Media to Debut Animated Feature Film at AFM NEW YORK, October 23: Classic Media has acquired the international rights to Turok: Son of Stone, an animated feature-length film based on a Gold Key Comics title, for premiere at this year’s AFM. The film is presented by The Weinstein Company and will be released on DVD domestically by Genius Products. First appearing in comic books in 1954, Turok’s dinosaur-hunting quests have previously been turned into a video game franchise that boasts more than 5 million units sold since the first game was introduced in the mid-90s. The new film draws on the original comic book, as well as influences ranging from Frank Miller to Akira Kurosawa, to create a dark, intense, epic retelling of Turok’s origin. Fox is looking to expand its primetime prison population with a spinoff from "Prison Break ."Tentatively titled "Prison Break: Cherry Hill," the potential new series would be set at a women's prison and center on Molly, a new regular character that will be introduced on "Prison" later this season.Fox has ordered a script of the possible spinoff, which is being written by "Prison" exec producer Matt Olmstead and co-exec producer Zack Estrin and produced by 20th Century Fox TV.Molly is an upper-middle-class wife. On tonight's episode of Prison Break , a new prisoner enters Sona, who knows Whistler. Michael and Lincoln find out the timetable has been moved up and Michael comes up with a risky plan to get out. T-Bag makes a friend while Sucre makes a deal.From his cell in Sona, Michael observes a rat outside and sees how quickly the guards notice the movement. They immediately shoot the rat dead, shooting down any chance that Michael can get out through the prison yard. A new prisoner arrives a Sona, who pretends he does not speak Spanish, and is immediately assaulted. Mahone tries to hint at teaming up with Michael to get out of there.Lincoln visits Michael to tell him that he's got to break out tomorrow with Whistler. Michael and a new inmate buddy begin planning their intricate escape from Sona during this episode.Michael's get a visitor in his cell: Captain Hurtado. The man is not happy as he thinks Michael has been watching him lately and asks if a monocular he finds in Michael's cell is a weapon. When Hurtado is about the shoot Michael to get answers, Whistler comes in and says the monocular is his. Sofia comes up to Hurtado, now next to his car, and tells him she needs a ride to go to Sona. During the ride, Hurtado compliments Sofia and he stops the car. He asks her what she is willing to do to see her prison-bound boyfriend. He even tells her he can not only allow her to see her boyfriend but also touch him... it all depends on her. "Prison Break " Returns in April In the update to an earlier story, FOX has confirmed "Prison Break" will go on hiatus on December 17 and return April 14."Sarah Connor Chronicles" will take over "Prison Break's" timeslot on January 14. The freshman drama inspired by Terminator movies will have 13 episodes and air through April 7."Prison Break" will then return April 14 and run the remaining episodes until early June (before "24"). Nick Santora: We didn’t know it was definite until sometime in the summer, so we just had to change our storylines and come up with something that was jarring, emotional, and would still drive our characters and make it clear that even though Dr. Sara Tancredi is gone from this world, she is not gone from the heart, mind, and soul of Michael Scofield. I know some people were saying she can’t be gone because the network and studio released statements that she plays an integral part in season three. Well, she does.
