Macka Diamond and Toots Hibbert teamed up on Wednesday for the video shoot of Don’t Bother Me, which is featured on Toots’ Grammy nominated album Light Your Light. The video was shot in Kingston at the home of Bridget Brown who is the owner of Bridget Sandals. Aidonia granted bail

Former Alliance deejay Sheldon ‘Aidonia’ Lawrence was offered bail when he appeared in the Gun Court today in the sum of $500,000. One876entertainment.com spoke to a family member not more than an hour ago who told us that Aidonia was waiting for his bail. “He is downtown now waiting for his bail to come through, he is in good spirits,” the family member told a One876Entertainment.com  reporter. The Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) confirmed that the deejay had been granted bail and revealed that he had been charged with illegal possession of firearm and shooting with intent. By now a lot of people are familiar with the Jamaican/Canadian who created quite a buzz in 2007 with the release of her very controversial hit, “kum out”. The song was the basis of several debates and arguments on many airwaves in Jamaica. It talks about domestic abuse from a female perspective and goes as far as encouraging women to retaliate. Lady Shelly who is known more for her dance/house/techno hits recently returned to her home town of Kingston Jamaica where she has decided to work on a full length album. The announcement was made last week at a small press conference held in Montego Bay. The artist has said that she has no intention of working with major producers simply because of their name, but rather to work with producers who share her passion for lyrical content. In October, 2007, Roots fm (a community radio station based in Kingston) opened their lines to allow listeners to vote for new music with content. A lot of people were in the venue, a lot of the conversations revolved around the fight between Deva Bratt and Munga, but as usual Beenie Man found some way to steal the spotlight. He went on the microphone and asked why Stone Love had chosen to give Mavado the deejay of the year title when it was clear that Mavado was a singer.
