Deathly Hallows to Begin Filming Later This Year

As production of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince winds down producers are already gearing up for the Deathly Hallows films. Thats right, I said filmS. In case you haven’t heard, it was decided to split the final Harry Potter book in to two films. While producers claim that this is for artistic rather than financial reasons, no one wants to see their cash cow die. In any case, production the two Deathly Hallows movies is set to begin this fall in the Scottish Highlands. The movies will be filmed simultaneously. Actually filming is not set to begin until early 2009. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One is scheduled to be released November 19, 2010, with part two due out in May 2011. TNT released their 2008 - 2009 Fall TV schedule this week and from the notes in their press release it sounds like they’re working hard to come up with their own original programming for most nights. This worries me for my multi-hour Law & Order nightly marathons! So there will be a lot of new shows on TNT between now and 2010 to go along with the return of Saving Grace and The Closer. Here are the new announcements for additional new shows on TNT: DELTA BLUES (working title) tells the tale of an outstanding but unusual Memphis cop: an Elvis impersonator who lives at home with his mother. DELTA BLUES comes to TNT from Warner Horizon Television and SmokeHouse and is executive-produced by George Clooney (Michael Clayton), Grant Heslov (Good Night, and Good Luck), Abby Wolf-Weiss, Liz Garcia and Josh Horto.
