An interview with Julie n-K about Chester and Dead by Sunrise (watch video).Julien-K, which is an electronic group created by Amir Derakh and Ryan Shuck formerly of Orgy, are in the final recording stages of their debut album, 'Death to Analog.' The album was originally scheduled for release in 2005, but due to delays the band won't have the album finished until the end of 2007.It seems the band was delayed by Linkin Park's Chester Bennington, who lent his hand and ear in the studio during the beginning stages of the band. A rare head-turning moment transpired when Linkin Park performed "Bleed It Out," from its smash 2007 album, "Minutes to Midnight." The band played the song from beginning to end, with no tricks, no cutaways, no cameos from wandering fellow celebs. Vocalists Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington stole the fire of the fans screaming at their feet and threw it back out. It was basic rock 'n' roll. Last night Snoop Dogg stepped up at one of many Rolling Stone 40th Anniversary parties at the Hard Rock Hotel. (Incubus and the Bravery kicked it off last night. Today there’s a RS sponsored celebrity poker tourney, as well as an outdoor concert with Linkin Park, and a late-night blowout at the Joint with Kanye West.) The Hard Rock also houses a club called Body English. That’s where Snoop held his afterparty. On the balcony, Britney Spears drank, smoked butts, and looked extremely hot. (The word at the Palms hotel, where the VMA’s are going down on Sunday, is that Britney’s show-opening routine will feature a slew of aerialists.)The S.S. headed over to the Palms for a performance by current RS cover star Kanye West, that went down in one of the ridiculous suites in the Playboy wing. Chester did two more designs for etnies Girl:The final collaboration of the spring season, Club Tattoo, features designs by Chester Bennington of Linkin Park. Spring ’08 is the second season that etnies Girl has teamed up with Bennington to create two art and lifestyle-inspired shoes. “The etnies and Club Tattoo collaboration gives us a chance to blend our mutual passion for art, body and lifestyle in a unique way,” said Bennington. “Etnies and Club Tattoo live what we do, love what we do and together we’ve created a perfect connection between body art and street style.”The collaboration includes two popular styles: the Chambosa and Lo-Pro-Baller. Found a really good interview with Chest er. He's going launch a high-end, rock 'n' roll clothing line named Ve'cel. There's a lot of interesting things in there. I especially love the Did you know that Chester ... bit.often wears a $7 necklace with a shield and prayer on the back? The prayer says: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified. Do not be discouraged for the Lord, God, will be with you wherever you go." has another band called Dead By Sunrise, which will have a record out in a few years? Screaming fans, enthusiastic TV crews and flashing cameras greeted Link in Park singer Chester Bennington when he arrived in Kuala Lumpur yesterday to promote the band’s forthcoming new album. Bennington was all smiles as he made his way through the throng of fans and media representatives waiting for him at the KLIA arrival hall. He stopped briefly to pose for pictures with a number of lucky fans, some of whom had driven from as far away as Malacca to give him a typical warm Malaysian welcome, before being whisked away by his entourage. The vocalist is in town to attend an exclusive media pre-listening session of the band’s soon-to-be released third album Minutes To Midnight, as well as an album pre-sale booking at Tower Records, KLCC, at 4pm today.
