1. NEW PROMO PHOTOS: While some may argue that this TV Addict needs to get outside more, I’m just going to go ahead and say it. New promo photos make me giddy! Not only do they signify that the Fall TV Season is just around the corner. But Hello!?!? Surely I’m not the only one who’s beginning to think that the fine looking doctors of Princenton-Plainsboro are starting to give the dysfunctional gang from Seattle Grace a run for their money. 2. Thursday marks the season finales of five shows! First up, is the season finale of Hopkins on ABC at 10/9c. Next, the 90-minute finale of Last Comic Standing on NBC at 8/7c. I’m pretty happy with the final five and for the life of me can’t decide who I want to win most. Iliza, I think. Or maybe Marcus. Or Jeff Dye. Tonight also marks the 2-hour season finale of So You Think You Can Dance on FOX at 8/7c. If I tell you who I want to win, please don’t throw things at me! I’m rooting for Twitch and Courtney. For the last of the finales, on TBS, there are two new episodes of The Bill Engvall Show at 9/8c and 9:30/8:30c (which is the season finale), followed by the season finale of My Boys at a later time of 10/9c. The following takes place between 10AM and 1PM. 10:00AM — If six seasons of watching the FOX hit 24 has taught this TV Addict anything, it’s that when Jack Bauer is involved, anything can happen. Not about to be caught off guard in preparing for a visit to the set, I make sure to have not only my passport [useful in getting back into the country after being kidnapped by foreign nationals], but also SPF40 sunblock, a Swiss army knife, two days worth of rations and my iPhone. The last time someone prepared this well for a three-hour tour it was Ginger packing all her gowns before setting sail on the S.S. Minnow. 10:30AM — Although I’m half-expecting Bauer’s black SUV to pull up, instead a white bus arrives to take me — along with several other scoop-seeking reporters — to the set. I suspect at least one of the supposed “journalists” is actually an undercover operative from a rival network hoping to somehow waylay production and push the s...

Not only does this TV Addict not think he can dance. He knows it! Which is probably the reason — as I alluded to in an earlier post — that I never caught the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE bug that has spanned the globe. [Coming Soon: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Canada!] That said, even a non-fan such as myself couldn’t help but get caught up in the excitement and energy as I sat backstage during tonight’s penultimate installment of the season. Choice Example of America’s Faltering Education System: When asked what the biggest challenge America’s youth is currently facing, Choice Movie Actor Winner Channing Tatum said, “America’s Education system is not doing good.” ‘Nuff said! Even though this TV Addict generally eschews the promotion of shameless stunt casting, I’m offering up a first look at Katie Holmes on ELI STONE for two reasons. For one, ELI STONE was the best show you didn’t watch last season. Everwood Season 2 [Finally] Coming to DVD?

When this TV Addict tearfully last left EVERWOOD [on DVD], Colin’s fate was hanging in the balance. Now, four years later, it is looking like fans who only experienced EVERWOOD courtesy of the magic of digital video disc will finally get the opportunity to find out what happens next. [Spoiler Alert] Buy Kleenex. According to musician Will Derryberry, and confirmed by tvshowsondvd.com, Warner Home Video is currently in the midst of negotiating all of the music rights so that seasons two, three and four can make it to both DVD and theWB.com.
