Jamaican judge, Owen Parkins yesterday issue a warrant for Dancehall artist beenie Man arrest for failure to appear in court on Monday. Beenie man was to appear in court to answer charges of tax evasion and to explain to the court how he planned to settle his decade-old debt at his missed hearing. "I am surprised that he has not appeared before me," Judge Owen Parkins said before issuing the warrant. "This case is well publicized and he should have been in court. No one is above the law." As of last week (October 16), incarcerated rapper Foxy Brown has been locked away from the general population after committing three violations while serving her year-long parole violation sentence on Rikers Island, according to the NY Post. The first incident reportedly occurred on October 3, when Foxy and another female inmate started shoving each other while on the way to the dining hall. The next day, Foxy refused to take a random drug test and also became verbally abusive towards a corrections officer. In response to these three incidents, the Department of Justice sentenced the Brooklyn rapper to 76 days in solitary confinement. For only one hour each day, she is still allowed to meet with her lawyer and visitors, as well as go to the library or recreation area. The letter suggested that QQ had been verbally abused Dancehall artist Kareem 'QQ' Dawkins, will be in the custody of a neutral party while his parents follow a court order to attend professional counselling. A Family Court judge on October 18th, awarded his parents joint custody of the child star, but said they will have to attend counselling. When the counselling is complete, the parents will return to court for the judge to make an assessment and determine which parent 13-year-old QQ should live with. South African reggae musician, Lucky Dube, was murdered on Thursday evening in Johannesburg the commercial capital of South Africa. Reports coming out of South Africa indicated that on Thursday evening the 43-year-old artist he was attacked by a group of hijackers who shot him. The revenue department of the Jamaican Government has submitted a claim on the artiste for millions of dollars in outstanding income tax.
