Queens, NY rapper Ja Rule was stopped around 10:30 pm in a luxury vehicle in Manhattan. When police searched the vehicle, they found a .40 caliber pistol inside of the vehicle. In a separate instance an hour later, The New York Daily News reports that New Orleans rapper Lil' Wayne was arrested after police witnessed him and another man allegedly smoking marijuana shortly after Lil' Wayne's performance at the Beacon Theater. According to the Houston Chronicle, the rapper, born Wesley Weston, turned himself in to the Harris County Courthouse around 2:30 pm yesterday.
