Amy Winehouse is out of rehab after only spending 48 hours at the Essex clinic. Winehouse was hospitialized recently due to "exhaustion;" a frequent code word for overdose in Hollywood. After being released from the hospital, Amy and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil checked into Essex clinic for addiction to heroin and cocaine. The singer tells News Of The World, ?I don?t know how to explain what happened. I don?t really know myself,? she said. ?I couldn?t recognize myself. I was so out of control. It just happened. It shocked me. I?m sorry. I just don?t know what got into me. Word on the street is that Jay-Z may be leaving his throne at Island Def Jam to begin a new reign at Columbia. It has been rumored for months that Jay-Z and Def Jam would go separate by the year's end and that rumor appears to becoming to fruition.Folks are whispering that the arrival of Jermaine Dupri as president of Island Urban music division is the reason for the Jiggaman outing.  "There isn't room for two kings at one label," says a source. "Why would Island bring in another power-hitter urban guy?" Def-Jam cofounder Rick Rubin was recently appointed as an executive at Columbia. Rubin produced Jay-Z's smash hit "99 Problems" and is  "is creating a super group of staff," explained another anonymous source. "So it would make sense that he would want Jay on his side."

Remy Ma Arrested On Attempted Murder Charges

Former Terror Squad member Remy -Ma was arrested Saturday on charges of attempted murder in a shooting outside a nightclub. Remy Ma allegedly shot her girlfriend Makeda Barnes-Joseph after she discovered that $2000 was missing from her purse, Remy says Barnes-Joseph was the last person holding it. Barnes-Joseph was leaving the trendy Pizza Bar in her Nissan Maxima when Remy Ma climbed in and shot her twice in the midsection. She then sped away in a Cadillac Escalade, crashed a few blocks away, and then fled on foot. Witnesses say that Makeda was lying on the ground screaming "Please don't let me die! Am I going to die?" Before she got in the ambulance she identified Remy Ma as the shooter.Remy turned herself in on Saturday and was also charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. At her arraignment on Sunday Remy pleaded not guilty to attempted murder charges and was released on $250,000 bond.
