Finally, HAPPY DAYS Are Here... CHIRUTHA Is Way Behind In USA...

I AM really thrilled that Tollywood audience have shown amazing maturity and rejected a lame movie like CHIRUTHA... Yeah! that is true... It was bound to happen sometime... and at last the happy days have come when any star can be beaten by a low budget movie (I haven't seen Happy Days yet... so don't know if it is good or not...). HAPPY DAYS is the NUMBER ONE movie in USA and it is bound to win majority of the public except may be C center audience even in Andhra Pradesh where Chirutha might do better.I like every star including Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, NTR, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Ravi Teja, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun and the like... but only when they make good if not great movies. But sometimes it is beyond sanity when these stars make blockbusters out of crap movies. But today Telugu movie buffs seem to have matured to a certain extent and the success of Happy Days is an excellent example.The box-office collections of HAPPY DAYS are way beyond CHIRUTHA in USA. Athidhi Music Sold For Rs. 75 Lakhs To Supreme Music!!!

ATHIDHI, Mahesh Babu's much anticipated release this year is doing extremely well in the music market. The Athidhi music composed by hit maker Mani Sharma was released recently by Supreme Music . It is being reported that the music rights for the movie were acquired by Supreme Music at an astonishing Rs. 75 Lakhs. To put the matters into perspective, the music rights of Venkatesh starrer THULASI were acquired by Aditya Music for Rs. 45 Lakhs.Athidhi is due to release on 18, October, 2007 with 350 Prints.

CHARMEE Turns 25 With MANTRA...

CHARMEE, one of the most exposed persons in Telugu film industry (quite literally)... is doing her 25th film titled MANTRA. Her age seem to be forever stuck at 18+ (according to her ridiculous claims)... but it feels great to see that she is at least making progress in her career. But the progress is in quantity (25) rather than quality (Her only good film till date is Anukokunda Okaroju)...Anyway, DTS works are in progress for Mantra directed by Tulasiram and produced by Kalyan Ram with Char mee playing the title role. According to the producer Kalyan Ram, the film is a thriller. The film revolves around various incidents that occurred in the life of a girl called Mantra. What kind of incidents she faced? How she thwarted them? What kind of bravery she showed in attacking the odd circumstances is the subject. Kausha's character would give a good twist to the story. CHIRUTHA is the biggest disappointment of the year. I have seen many failures before in Tollywood but never this big... especially when the expectations were sky high... Chirutha's failure has got nothing to do with Ram Charan... He is a great revelation and very obviously will be a huge star in the future of Telugu cinema. But that doesn't mean he is completely devoid of any drawbacks. So a complete preview and prediction of Ram Charan's future will come soon... Can TARUN Make A Comeback...

TARUN was the lover boy of TOLLYWOOD in the distant past... Now there are many claiming that spot and if at all Tarun wants to make a comeback, he cannot do so as a lover boy... Firstly, he is not that young to be called as a lover "boy". Secondly, after everything that has happened between Tarun and Aarti Agarwal, I expect the undercurrent public sympathy to be in favour of Aarti and against him... That might prove to be a huge hurdle to cross... It is being speculated that he is preparing for a comeback with his first Tamil movie PUNNAGAI DESAM being remade in Telugu with probably PRIYAMANI replacing SNEHA in the female lead... But, all said and done, Tarun has always been one of the most efficient actors when it comes to performing...
