Beach styles

With beach weather slowly creeping in again i have been thinking a lot about beach orientated clothes and accessories. Cute hats, nice bikinis slops and sunnies are all once again on my mind after the long dreary winter and i cant wait to stock up!I usually have to very distinct beach looks. The one is pink matchy matchy and the other one is gold, print earth tones.This might sound strange but its almost the only colors i like for beach wear. I am not saying the whole bikini or even any of it should be in those colors but its just what i tend to steer towards either with accessories or clothes.I know some of you will be like what? Just go to the beach wearing whatever but i like making an occasion out of everything and you never know who you might see! lolThe set i created was mostly inspired by the beach we went to on the weekend, it had golden sand clear green blue water and it was in the middle of nowhere hence the wild side coming out :)I like mixing things up and keeping it dif...

Revlon Passion Punch

I bought another Revlon nail polish and this time in Passion punch. I actually thought it would be a totaly different color to the last one i bought ( love her madly) but they are actually pretty close.This one is more of a deep rose color while love her madly is more berry-ish :)I like them both though and they are matte colors which i am definitely liking at the moment!I am waiting for about 10 more nail polishes to arrive! Yay so excited!xx

First off i want to give a HUGE thank you to Little Miss Beauty Junkie for hosting a give away where i won one of the prizes. Please go check out her blog :) LittleMissBeautyJunkieShe gave away a few palettes all with different colors and i was lucky enough to get one of them! The one i got was gray eyes which is the silver palette and its so pretty i dont want to use it! :PI was sooooo impressed when i opened it and i definitely want to get more as soon as i find somewhere to buy them. Its such a sleek palette with everything you need, it even has a liner and liner brush.It explains how to use it on the back but its in french i think! :P I dont think i need help though!I cant wait to do a evening look using this palette!Here are some pics and swatches (thanks again!!!!!)

Weekend News

On the weekend it was absolutely awesome weather here in Malta so we decided to take a mini road trip to the next island called Gozo. Its about 40min to the Ferry and then 20min on a ferry and then another 30min to the beach we went to called Ramla Bay in Gozo.Of course we first had to stop off at Mcdonalds for breakfast and then to the grocery store for some drinks :)After some crazy 4x4 action down a cliff basically (the guy we asked told us to take the shortcut) we ended up at this beautiful golden sand beach with clear still water.We felt like we were somewhere else and it was great because Malta can give you some serious island fever!It was just me and the three boys and we had loads of fun. We even invented a new drink (yet to be named) with citron absolute vodka and frozen slushy peach ice tea. Its amazing and i had mine out of a Carlsberg beer can (didnt have glasses)Lol fun times and definitely the start of an amazing summer!Waiting outside the car for the ferry on out way ...

Face of the day - Well actually Yesterday...

I was so busy yesterday that i forgot to post the face of the day pics! Oops! Essence Nail Goodies

I bought this Essence nail polish in the color Why Not a while ago and totaly forgot about it until last night after gym i went to the same store i got it from and saw they had gotten in more cool goodies. I just bought two items but i am definitely going to go back for more!I got the nail polish corrector pen (i soooo need it!) and the quick dry top coat. Today's photo for look of the day is quite funny. I went to go sit to do a youtube video and i never put it on video mode so it took a picture and totaly caught me unawares.I tried something new with my eye makeup today. Instead of lining the eye all the way arounf i lined the top and the the outer corner at the bottom. I got my first Barrym nail paint on Friday and i am so glad i bought it! Unfortunately the flash was on in this pic so it looks light but its not. Its a really pretty barbie pink kind of color.I love love love it. I wore it the whole weekend but it did chip although most of my nail polishes chip after a day because i forget to put on a top coat and i am always doing things to make them chip :PI cant wait to get more of these!xx

Hi everyone!Hope you guys are having an awesome weekend! Today has been pretty good here as we got the man's company car to drive around in. Malta is so small its easy to walk or take the bus to places but having a car again was cool!When we got home just now after a nice lunch at the waterfront i had a package in the mail. Yay! Foundation Samples

Everyone has been raving about the Revlon Colorstay foundation and i really wanted to try it out but i didnt want to spend money on something that i might not love or use... I decided to look for some samples online and found these. You get 6 for about 2 pounds and they are 5ml each so it works out to 2 pounds for 30ml!The only color they had was medium beige which is fine because i usually wear beige but when it came it was actually the exact color. I really like the formulation of this foundation and how smoothly it goes on but i think it might be breaking me out. It seems like it might be a bit too thick for my skin but i will keep on using it and see if things get worse!The other samples i bought are the Elizabeth Arden cerimide plump perfect foundation (my favorite one ever) I was a bit disappointed when i received it and saw the color was toasty beige and not beige as it said on the site. This is a product i have been meaning to get for a while but i actually bought it at the exact right time as the nice summer weather has just started on our side!Its the Eyeko tinted cream or bronzing cream as everyone is calling it and in my opinion its a must have for summer!I dont have anything bad to say about this so let me just tell you what i like about it!It looks dark in the tub but once its applied it sheer and not to bronzy looking giving you a great natural looking glow.Great value for your money as its only 5pounds and they have free shipping on the site (i got mine for even less with a code)It doesnt dry as fast as the 3in1 cream which makes it super easy to apply and totaly non streakyIt blends really well!I think i will be using and repurchasing this the whole summer!Where to buy it - www.eyeko.comRemember to look out for special codes as they have them all the time! Get rid of tired looking eyes!

Because of my weekend in the sun my eyes have suffered! I usually have bags or dark circles under them caused by the fluid retention of my contacts i wear all the time but they do get a lot worse when i dont sleep, sit in the sun the whole day etc!Here are some things i do to get rid of my super tired looking eyes to make me look awake again:Put some teaspoons in the freezer and hold them under your eyes to reduce swelling. (i would have said teabags or cucumber but unfortunately that has never worked for me!)Use hemorrhoid cream under your eyes. I am being 100% serious, i haven't one this in a while put i used to put it under my eyes all the time. Its a really good quick fix!Gently massage eye ream under your eyesPut some light reflective cream under your eyes. The eyeko cream works wonders for me!Grab your concealer and cover them up!Put eyeliner and lashings of mascara on your top lashes and eyelid and just some light eyeliner at the bottom.
