Wear sunscreen!

This weekend the weather was amazing here in Malta so on Saturday we spent the whole day at Golden bay swimming and chilling on the beach and yesterday we went down to the rocks opposite our apartment to watch the powerboat race.I did put on some spf 15 but apparently the sun was a lot more hectic than i anticipated and i got so sun burnt!I feel really really bad about it today because every year i promise myself i wont fry in the sun but it just seems to happen.I dont want to look like an old leather bag one day so this is definitely the last time this summer i am getting so burnt although the upside to my skin type is that although i was super red yesterday i am brown today :)At least i never burn my face as i always put on tons of cream and foundation or something to protect it. I dont care if people are like oh no she is wearing make up to the beach because at least i look good and i am protecting my skin!Anyway hopefully none of you are planning to get burnt this summer :)xx

Ok girls, its time to help me decide! W0uld you rather get 5 China Glaze nail polishes ...or all these LA color nail polishes?It works out to exactly the same price and because i haven't tried either i dont know.It is 12 polishes against 5 for the same price though?What do you think? Are the LA colors ones crap or would you totaly rather get them?I am loving all those colors but i am scared... heheHELP ME DECIDE PLEASE!!! :)

DIY Silver Nails

Yesterday i did another DIY nail polish and it turned out a really funky silver.I had this nail polish that i have never used before because it was this awful white pearly color and i dont even know what brand it is because it has nothing on it! Lol, anyway i mixed in a little bit of ELF black nail polish and it came out really pretty!I already ordered some Revlon nail polish but i think this weekend i might order some china glaze.Just one Question for anyone living in Europe. When i first saw this picture of Lindsay Lohan i thought she was standing next to some older woman that she wants to seduce. Turns out its her much younger (15 year old) sister Ali. Seriously people no one looks good when they are that thin.Do you think Lindsay is a bad influence?Are Twilight co stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson getting it on? Someone snapped them getting cosy at a Sam Bradley show. They are in Vancouver at the moment shooting the Twilight Sequel New Moon.They look very lovey dovey and dare i say Kirsten looks a bit drunk... Is Rob taking advantage?

The MAC Rose Romance collection has been getting loads of attention but for loads of you it has been a bit of a disappointment and i am not even getting anything from this collection. If you dont feel like spring colors from MAC this year there are loads of other stunning collections to try to suit every style and pocket size! :) Lilac and pink and other muted colors are all the rage but i seem to find myself very attracted to the odd one out. Yesterday i did a Bronze summer skin How To and it was requested i do a look of the day to go with it.Here is what it looks like on me. Sorry for the crazy pic but as it was a summer look i wanted to involve the ocean. Unfortunately for me it was very windy out on the balcony today so my hair went everywhere!Hope you still get the effect!I used my pro palette and ELF shimmering facial whip on my eyes to everything. Even eyeliner!

Glowing bronze summer skin

Its almost summer and today i was inspired to do a glowing bronzy skin by the Giorgio Armani Beauty Bronze Mania Collection.Not everyone can afford all those products so here is a low budget way of getting a glowy sun kissed summer look on your skin.This would work best if your body is already tanned (or you use fake tan) I dont like tanning my face but i do sometimes tan my body so if you dont want a brown body and white face this would be great!After moisturizing my face i mixed my Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish bare perfection foundation with some MeMeMe bronzing foundation. The bronzing foundation might look dark but when it blends it goes a subtle light brown. Apply that like you would apply your foundation normally.Lightly dab some eyeko 3in1 cream under your eyes, on your cheekbones, down your nose and on your brow bone.Take some Bobbi Brown bahama brown bronzer and gently sweep over cheekbones chin and forehead and jaw boneVoila, subtle looking summer glow!

Review: The Body Shop Vitamin C Peel

I love trying out things like peel's, masks and micro dermabrasion kits. I am such a sucker for promises of bright beautiful skin etc!I bought the vitamin e peel from the body shop a while ago and i have used it a few times. Its a gel that you put on your face and then you wait about 10 min and when its dry you peel it off. Its supposed to leave your skin radiant. Here's what i think.What i like about it:It comes with a little spatula that makes application quite easyYour face feels clean and soft after you have used itIt doesnt burn or irritate my skinThe tub looks small but you dont use a lot at a time because its a gel and it goes a long way.What i dont like:The smell is awful. Someone, most probably a subscriber has during the night given every single one of my youtube videos 1 star ratings. This means because i dont have loads of ratings all my ratings look like &%$#!!!!What a way to start a nice day :( Why do people do things like this... I just dont get it. I am not super upset just angry because i dont understand the mentality behind it. I am wayyyy more impressed with the other two soaps than i was with Rockstar. Damn why did they have to give the cool name to the soap i dont like... Skincare Routine

So after a bit of searching around and trying different products i have found some things that work for me. I am not hugely into buying expensive products because i think they will work better and if neutrogena gives me the same results as creme de la mer (haha yeah right) then why not!I also dont really have access to all the brands i have back in South Africa so when i go back home i might change it up again but we will see.The face wash i am using in the morning and at night is the St Ives Apricot scrub. I heard about it through otehr bloggers but the strangest thing is that years ago my sister got a sample of a St Ives product in an overseas mag (we dont get St Ives in SA i think) and she raved about it all the time since then. I am sure it was the Apricot scrub and i will be sending her some :)Then i use Neals Yard moisturizer and some eyeko cream in the morning before applying my make up.At night i remove my make up with the Neutrogena eye makeup remover and then i wash my fac...

Review: ELF Kabuki Brush

I received my ELF kabuki brush in the mail yesterday and its the fastest shipping i have had from ELF! It took like 3 days to get to malta i think which is amazing!I needed a kabuki brush to make it easier to apply my mineral foundation and though i would try out a cheaper one first.What i like about it:The packaging is niceThe brush is soft but not to soft (if you know what i mean!)The size is perfect for your face and they also have another bigger size for your bodyIts less expensive than some other brands (3.5)What i dont like:It shed the first time i used it (and a little the second time but now its fine)Rating - 4/5

DIY Yellow Nails

This morning i felt like doing something with my Sally Hansen clear nail polish that i just haven't been using. I have a different much better clear polish so i decided to experiment on this one.I looked at my pro palette for inspiration and i decided seeing as i hardly ever use the yellow eyeshadow i was going to put some of that with my polish.What i did:Made a cone shaped funnel with a piece of paper and cello taped the edgestook a knife (a very small plastic spoon would work better but i dont have any!) and then took of bits of my yellow pro palette eyeshadowPlaced the cone inside the nail polish topTook my knife scrapings (for a lack of a better word) and emptied it inside the cone so it falls into the polish.Close the polish and shake shake shakePaint nails :)In my opinion it turned out pretty good. It has a little bit of a sparkle and its like a yellow gold colour.xx

Make Up Storage

I have a huge problem! My make up is lying all over the place and i just cant find somewhere to put it where i will actually but it back there again...Back home i had my vanity and mirror etc and thats where i kept all my goodies, but now there is no light in the bedroom so i dont keep my make up on my vanity anymore.I have been looking around for cute storage ideas and i have been meaning to turn our third bedroom into a "me" room so i was looking online last night and saw some cute ideas.The one above is actually similar to something i saw in the shops the other day that i really liked but that on had just four flat drawers.Should i buy it and mix it up with some damask printed boxes?The thing is i am not sure how long we will be staying in Malta for and what do i do with it if we do go back home... Tough one!What do you guys store you make up in?

The Body Shop Vitamin E Facial Mist

I am loving The Body Shop 's Vitamin E Facial Mist . I think i am definitely going to be abusing it this summer, especially if i keep it in the fridge (nothing better than a refreshing spray on your face when the temp reaches over 30degrees c!It smells like rosewater and is also moisturizing and sets your make up of course!I actually wanted the Vitamin C spray but when i asked for it the lady helping me gave me this one and i paid without looking... Silly me!I will finish using this one and then try the Vit C one.I haven't tried MAC fix plus or the fix plus from the rose romance collection but i would think its something like this?If anyone has tried both please let me know which one you prefer and why.Please Rate, Comment & Subscribe if you want! :)xx

I feel really bad doing this review but i cant help it. I have been testing out a few different products because my last skincare routine just wasnt working for me. One of the items i really wanted to try out was the Neals Yard Jasmine Enriching Cream . Unfortunately when i went to their website shipping to Malta was something crazy like 20 or 30 pounds and then another 16 for the product.What do i do when i cant buy something at the actual store?
