Review: Lilylolo mineral foundation

I received my Lilylolo mineral foundation and matte bronzer sample in the post the other day. Total excitement! :)What i liked about it:The cute plain packagingHow easily it blendedThe amazing coverage i gotHow flawless it looksThe super fast shippingWhat i didnt like about it:ok, seriously for the time being i have nothing bad to say about this product!I bought the mineral foundation in "in the buff" and thank goodness it was a perfect match to my skin colour. I might need to go a little darker in summer seeing that if i just get a little bit of sun i get very very brown.Its light reflective and it is made from gentle ingredients so if you are prone to breakouts then this is great for your skin type.I walked around the whole day with this sitting in the sun sweating etc and when i got home it still looked exactly the same! Usually my make up will be a oily mess by that time. :)It also contains sun protection which is great.Its £ 12.00 for 10g and i think it will last me qui...

Summer Shopping

I absolutely adore going shopping for summer clothes. Its so much more fun than trying on coats and boots and jackets.Usually winter would be starting for me now but now that i am in Malta i am looking forward to summer in the middle of the year. Its quite strange as i always associate summer with December holidays Christmas and new year.This summer i will be wearing loads of dresses. I have a huge obsession with them and i cant wait to go buy some more cute ones in fun summer colours!I will also be wearing chunky gold jewelry and fun hair accessories, oh and don't forget the fan :) I got one from Accessorize and i cant wait to use it! (it gets really really hot here!)I already have a few bikinis but seeing that we live opposite the ocean i know i am going to need some more! I saw the prettiest white and gold one at Topshop and i am thinking that might just be my first official summer purchase!Who else loves summer shopping and what do you plan on buying the most of for your summer...

Although it might not be the other persons fault i will most probably be disappointed...This whole swapping story reminds me of when i was in primary school and we used to do secret santa.I would always buy my partner the most amazing item i could find using the our budget and when i got my present it would be a bar of icky smelling soap or a recycled present....Not that i wasn't grateful (i could have gotten nothing...) I feel so bad , today is Earth day and i have done absolutely nothing to save the environment... :(What did you do today to help Earth?In other exciting news - Its myself and my man's 6 and a half year anniversary today! Yes we do semi celebrate the half years as well seeing that we only had our very first real restaurant date after we had been going out for 6 months.Wow, time flies!

Review: Maybelline Lash Stiletto

I received my Maybelline Lash Stiletto mascara in the post yesterday and couldnt wait to try it out! I put it on this morning and this is what i thought:What i like about it:The brush is nice, it gets all the eyelashes covered and its easy to applyIt lengthens lashesIt doesnt make your lashes clump loads even after a few coatsWhat i didnt like about it:The packaging - its not a huge deal and doesnt make any difference to the product but in my opinion the packaging looks a bit 80s, like something i would have found in my moms make up bag when i was little. I know its the heel of a stiletto but the red silver and black just doesnt do it for me...You need to apply a few coats to get fuller lashes - although it lengthens it doesnt really make your lashes look more.Final verdict: Its not the best maybelline mascara but its not bad either. I dont think i would buy it again though i prefer the XXL Curl one.3.5/5

I was a bit sceptical about the Eyeko 3in1 cream at first but after i received it i am totally converted!This stuff is amazing!What i like about it:It gives you a glow instead of a shimmer that might make you look oilyYou get tons of it inside the jar, not like some creams where the jar isnt fullIts not only a highlighter but its also good for youYou can put it over or underneath your concealer and it still looks greatThe packaging is super cute!The price is very good for what you get!What i dont like about it:It smells like nothing and a bit funny at the same timeIt dries quickly if you use it on its ownYou can buy it at www.eyeko.com for 5pounds. I think all three of these outfits are quite horrible and although i dont understand why these celebrities would go out like this i must admit i have worn some pretty bad outfits as well! :PIf you had to choose one outfit to go out in public with which one would it be?1) Katy Perry with her pink pj type outfit?2) Katie Holmes with her grunge outfit and face WITHOUT MAKEUP3) Jaslene from ANTM with her mini hanky skirt?This is quite a difficult decision seeing that i dont think i will ever be able to go out without make up on but damn those other two are super bad...Which one would you choose?

I bought some goodies last week and some of them arrived today! I got St Ives apricot scrub, Eyeko 3 in 1 cream and The Body Shop vit c peel!I cant wait to try these out as they all look awesome :)It says its for oily blemish prone skin and mine is more combination/oily but hopefully i will get good results!I am super excited to try this one! I love any kind of peels and masks etc because they usually leave your skin feeling smooth and amazing!I was amazed at how much was in the jar! Wow, i will probably use this alot in summer i think! :)I will post reviews as soon as i have tried these items a few times! :)

Today i decided to do a hair tutorial for my youtube channel. I added some blonde "highlights" to my hair in the form of my strawberry blonde and platinum extensions. They are basically the same length as my hair and i just put them in when i want some more colour added!I kept my make up pretty simple just putting on some MAC tippy blush, popster lip conditioner and french cuff & Carbon eyeshadow.Btw some people had concerns about the Urban Decay primer potion drying up after depotting it. I have had mine in a little plastic container for almost a month now and it hasnt dried up at all! :)Hope everyone had a great weekend! I must say mine was amazingly fab! Myself and my man spent the whole weekend chilling, drinking red wine making dinner together and watching "how i met your mother" totaly relaxed and fun!I got some goodies in the post so expect a haul and some reviews coming up!xx

Freeman Beauty Rasberry Facial Gel Scrub

Yesterday i couldnt resist buying the raspberry facial scrub. The pink packaging lured me in first and then the promise of something that smelled like raspberries. Absolute yumminess!I tried it last night and it smelled amazing! I thought the little scrub bits would be more but its a very gentle scrub which is probably better for my skin anyway!It says on the packaging its a moisture-rich facial scrub, with Raspberry extract and Aloe Vera that gently clears away impurities that clog pores, revealing brighter, smoother skin.When i was finished my skin did feel nice and clean and smooth not visable brighter but what can you expect after the first use!I am going to use this a few times a week and see if it makes a difference.

Its horrible weather over here so we decided to go to the shops this morning to just go look around. We spent loads of time in The Body Shop trying things out until my man said he was starting to get hayfever. We bought some glasses and new coffee cups (boring!)I had to of course buy something for myself although i did buy some goodies from Topshop yesterday as well....Anyway i got a cute pink hairband, pink earings and a big pink flower! I just put it all on for effect and wont really go anywhere like that! :PI am really liking my hair this colour though as well as the natural wavy look! (btw the light is darker today cause its raining so hair doesnt look that red but it def still is!) :)Hope all of you are having a fab weekend i definitely am!

Avo and Oatmeal Mask

I saw this at the grocery store yesterday, it caught my eye firstly for the colorful packaging (there were pink and orange ones as well) and secondly because i have never seen it before and it was super cheap!I love face masks but for some or other reason they all leave me feeling tight and itchy and horrible!I decided to try the Oatmeal and avo clay mask and wow was i surprised.I used it last night and although it looks quite disgusting (think light green sludge!) it left my skin feeling so smooth and soft with no irritation!It has added Vitamin E, draws out excess oils and dirt, purging clogged pores hence my skin feeling baby soft!The next thing i want to try from this brand is the Rasberry scrub, can anyone say yummi!!!Has anyone else seen or tried this? Thoughts?

I was bored so i decided to make the tips of some of my brushes pink. I only did four to see how they would turn out but it does look quite cute.I didnt really do it so that i recognize my brushes seeing that the only person that live with me is my man and i never do makeup with other girls :P

This is my smokey eye that a did for my friend Being Brazen. Her favorite new make up look is smokey eyes and she asked me if i could do a quick how to for her readers!First off i must stress the fact that everyone has different eye shapes and you need to work with that to create a look that will suit you.I have quite heavy eyelids and down turned eyes so i need to use less dark eyeshadow under my eyes and i need to do defined mostly winged eyeliner to give my eyes that extra lift.If you have upturned eyes you might look good with and all black lids and if you have small eyes you might now want to line your waterline with black but maybe rather white or cream and then put eyeshadow underneath your eye to give it a better look.I suggest playing around and finding out what you think looks best on your eyes and maybe even taking some pics (it always looks different after a photo or two!)The smokey eye i did was a brown black and neutral one without a lot of shimmer and i didnt do it ve...

Hot Pots from Coastal Scents

I have been looking at these hotpots from Coastal Scents and i am really trying to decide whether i should get some or not. Its so tempting because the are only $5 each and the 4 slot palettes are also $5 (big ones are $7.95) But they have a special going now where if you buy 12 shadows you get a free 12 pan palette..They are the same size as MAC ones but i am not sure about the quality. Has anyone tested these?Otherwise i will have to take the plunge and test some to see. I was thinking of buying a small palette and four eyeshadows for now...

So i got these in the post on Thursday. I only got round to using them today so i thought i would do a little review.What i like:The individual packeges are easy to take with you anywhereThey dont dry out because you only open one at a timeThey are very softThey clean very well ( i had a stain on my hand and i washed it about 5 times with no results but then they wipe took it right off)They stay moist even if they are left open ( i took one out and left it for about 5 hours and its was still moist when i picked it up again)They dont leave your skin feeling tightWhat i didnt like:The smell isnt very nice (smell like those lemon wipes you get at restaurants but its very faint)They are a bit on the small side but i can still cut them in half and keep the other side for next timeThey cost 5pounds and you can get them at www.eyeko.com (Free Worldwide Shipping)Remember to put in my ambassador code ( E1678 ) for a free gift!xx
