Summer look

Ok so this is what i want to look like for summer.... No seriously. hehe, i love the colors (especially the bikini) the skin tone the make up and hair. I feel like i can never get away with natural and will wear eyeliner to bed if i could but summer does make it easier because if you have a great tan (fake of course) and beach wave hair you always look better.Guess what... It just started hailing outside! Great....

I loving my new candles (or tarts whatever) from Yankee Candles so much that i went to go buy two more proper candles from them in Caribbean Banana. Hmmmm, i have one on the bedroom and one in the kitchen and this morning i actually woke up smiling because the room smelled so nice and then walked into the kitchen smiling because it smelled like cupcakes and banana. Sounds weird but smells oh so good!I wonder if i can find fresh coffee scented candles or maybe petrol scented ones. LOL, ok i am weird but i adore those two smells although i think the petrol one in moderation! It always reminds me of going on vacation when i was small though. :)Anyway i actually saw a candle review on some candles on youtuber JulieG713's channel. The candles look amazing and i def want to try them out.Anyone have any super strange scents they would want turned into scented candles?*UPDATE*How weird i just found loads of coffee candles! I am really impressed by my Inglot buys. At first i thought i wouldn't like the eyeshadow but i love love love it! Its a bit powdery but it comes on perfectly and blends so well! The gloss is such a nice color and it stays on for ages unlike most glosses.Since i got my black track i haven't used anything else and i can see this is going to be bad for my pocket! I dont know how some people let theirs dry up because i dont even think i have had it for two months and i have already used half! Eeeeekkkkk!I bought this on ebay and i am actually liking it alot. Its not very heavy and you can build the color. I also received the wrong color way light but as soon as it hit my skin it just became my exact skin color! You cant see a difference anywhere. Very weird!This has got to be my absolute favorite mascara. I have tried some more expensive ones that also have the two wands but the just didnt work. This makes my lashes long and curly and no clumps! Amazing :)

Paris Hilton is apparently going to be spending $280 grand on a diamond-encrusted dash for her pink Bentley! She wants a little bit more bling for her car and although i am all for pink and bling i think that is taking it a bit to far? She will probably need a body guard for her car now or something because i just don't see how that is going to work out.... Lol, i suppose if you have it flaunt it!My dream was always to have a pink hummer with LV interior like the one in the Britney Spears music video but now that i am more conscious of the environment i think i will have to make it a hybrid...

Vanilla Cupcakes

I am soooo glad i read Sass's blog post about her current addictions yesterday! One of them was Yankee Candle's vanilla cupcake candle that she keeps burning the whole day long. I adore the smell of cupcakes and i have never heard of these candles before so i googled it and found the site and wanted to buy one but of course shipping was a bit on the expensive side...I told myself i must remember to go get some or other scented candle with vanilla when i go to the shops again and didn't think much of it again.So while browsing around our local (tiny never has anything) supermarket last night guess what! I find Yankee candle's, vanilla cupcake! I could seriously not believe my luck! Look of the day - Where is the sun???

Its such strange weather here today! Its not as cold as usual but its super cloudy and you cant see the sun at all and its very dark. The ocean is looking amazing though, flat and turquoise.No sun no sunny colors. ;)I don't usually think i suit blue colors or icy pink tones but this look didn't turn out to badly.It was super easy to do as well!Just some foundation, blusher, pink lipstick and some gloss, blue pigment, black eyeliner and mascara. Viola!

I got such a fright yesterday! My desk is in the lounge looking out onto the balcony. So i was just sitting as usual typing away or whatever when all of a sudden, what?!? First a cable falls down then i hear shouting and then this thing rises from the ground! Ahhhh! Someone wants to come spy on me or climb into the flat???I get up (still in my pj's) to go investigate and there are loads of workers on the sidewalk and this weirdo little truck where this ladder thing is coming from. I go sit down again and hope no one is going to pop up and say hi and next thing i know a bed comes sailing past!I am totally not used to things like this happening but i suppose there is no other way to get furniture up to the high floors of these apartments.I am just glad no one was sitting on the bed as it came past! :P

Arggg! A day before HK MAC and i should be saving up but what do i do? I buy make up!What is wrong with me damn it!In South Africa i never used to buy on the net because no one ships there but we had loads of fab shops to spend money at. Now i have no fab shops but loads of people who deliver! :PI will post pics as soon as i get my goodies. So excited! :)

So there is one day left before the launch of MAC HK in the UK and i am still ridiculously excited. I have no idea why as i am sooooo sick of seeing the products i want to puke and i have also decided to not go for any of the eye shadows... They just dont look that great to me anymore. Today was just going to be another boring day... Untill! OMW, i cant believe it, it cant be real! Mini Zara Haul

My man bought me some goodies at Zara on Friday. I really just needed a new mini skirt because mine is looking shocking (falling apart shocking) but i couldn't resist a little cute dress!I tried on this black one first with lots of cleavage but it was a bit big so i went back to the rail to look for a small and another girl took the last one from right under my nose! Of course i stalked her around the shop for a while waiting for her to put it down so i can see the size (i am sure it was a small because she wasn't very big) After a while i felt a bit creepy and she didn't look like she was going to let it go so i grabbed another dress and tried it on and loved it a lot more than the black one! Jippeee for the girl taking the other dress!I also got a slightly distressed denim mini which fits perfectly!Later after gym we went to Arcadia to do some food shopping and i saw they sell some make up there as well. Here are some pics of what i wore on Saturday night and my make up (excuse the pics they were taken around 3 in the morning)My make up was very orange coral and gold colored and i put on some false lashes for effect.The dress i wore is the new one i got from Zara. I absolutely love the color and the fit. It goes from orange to pink to all the colors in between and the material is sort of shiny. I wish i had one in purple and yellow as well! I kept the accessories plain with just a chunky gold chain and my little gold handbag and some gold shoes.We had such a fun Saturday. I got this perfume at the cutest little shop ever! It has loads of gold and pink and bling and chandeliers inside and i wish i could decorate one of our spare bedrooms like that and turn it into my dressing room!They have more than 600 perfumes and its all unbranded brand name perfumes. I got 2 euro discount because i bought some items from Inglot.They fragrance i got was Lacoste touch of pink because i totally love the smell and i want something light and girly for summer time. I cant wait to go back to buy some more perfumes!Then i also got two products from Inglot (was supposed to be three but they didn't have the shimmer face highlighter brick i wanted in stock so i have to wait till they have it again...)Anyway i got one of their eyeshadows in a creamy shimmer color because i needed a nice base color. I love going for a good workout at the gym. I am not sure why everyone else finds the gym to be such a drag and a mission... You get to check out people, listen to music and work up a sweat while losing weight!As you all have probably noticed i have a fascination with the color pink. I never really buy pink in normal clothes (i prefer gold,black and brown) but any lounge wear, gym clothes, pj's, swimwear has to be pink. With matching accessories of course!I have a bright pink gym towel, a bright pink water bottle and a bright pink ipod. Then i have black tights that i can team up with a pink top or grey tights i can wear with a black top mixed in with some pink here and there :) Get the picture?Going to the gym is all about making a fashion statement. I see everyone is raving about Lush these days and i didnt think i had anything from them until.... Hmmmm, i am sure i saw something Lush when opening my Christmas pressies... I could be wrong, let me go check!Jip, there it is between all my other nice smelling xmas goodies, a bar of lemon lush soap. I tried it out today and i really really liked it. It was very foamy (is there a word like that??) and smelled sooo nice. I hate washing with soap though because it leaves my skin kind of tight but now i but on baby oil after the soap while i am still in the shower and it works great! Nice soft skin!Anyway, i decided to go to the Lush website and check out the Rockstar soap that apparently smells so good and it was really cheap! Like 2pounds something, but the shipping was 8 euros! That is crazy and i wont pay that for one bar of soap... :( I am super sad now! Hey everyone, i have a poll up and would like everyone to please vote! It just takes two seconds and its a really easy question.Would you buy MAC pigment samples online? The answers are yes no or maybe and you can find the poll on the right sidebar just under view complete profile.I have been looking at MAC sample pigments and would totally buy some because it seems nice to be able to buy a bit of pigment (especially a color you are not sure of) without committing to it. A bit also goes a long way so thats also great!

Looks like everyones relationships are going downhill in Tinseltown.According to sources Chris Brown is trying to get back into Rihanna's good graces. He phoned her to wish her a happy birthday and also sent her gifts including a diamond bracelet and some flowers for her mother. Do you think she should forgive him??? I don't in my eyes material things cant make up for bad behaviour. If i were him i would go crawl under a rock.Poor Beyonce had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction while performing with Hugh Jackman at the Oscars. Wedding Look

I decided to go for a plain dress for the wedding. Longish black dress cut low in front with a semi open back. I wore a gold knot necklace and my fave Miss Selfridges purple, teal and gold earrings for color.I did my hair straight because i wasn't going to stress about having to maintain curls the whole night and i did a very mat neutral look for my eyes and shimmer peach gold for my cheeks.My make up held very well the whole day and night in my opinion.I was the unofficial wedding photographer and had to carry around a huge camera which has no given me what i have dubbed *Camera hand. I look kind of not human in the first pic and my one eyebrow seems to have gone crazy. I cant wait to get a tan, i looks so white in the pics!*You get camera hand from lugging around very heavy camera equipment for 2 or more hours. This can cause serious damage to your make up application skills as your hand may cramp up when holding make up brushes...

I woke up this morning with that shhhhhhhhhh sound cars make when driving in the rain. DAMN! Got up and what did i see outside? Rain Rain Rain and a bit more Rain! I am so sick and tired of being cold. We have in my opinion relatively mild winters in Cape Town and i really thought Malta would be the same. Actually i didn't even think there would be any winter! (i wont listen to those stupid in flight magazines again...)Its been really freezing here for what feels like forever and if it rains i cant go to the post office because i walk there etc etc. It just makes my life difficult.Now i know in summer time i will probably be complaining saying OMW its soooo hot i am dying and stuff but i think anything is better than this!Summer come back pretty please :) :)
