If you haven't heard or seen the show yet, it worth watching.Who would have imagined that the notorious PPA (Philadelphia Parking Authority) would have their own reality TV show?I wouldn?t in a million years. To tell you the truth when I first heard about it I was angry, having couple runs in with PPA myself, but now after watching a couple episode which I found to be hilarious, I am glad everyone in the world has a chance to see how sneaky and unorganized the PPA really are. XIX Nineteen Cafe at the Park HyattCenter City District Restaurant Week returns (1/27/2008 - 2/1/2008)Well this year, the price went up.Ruth's Chris (Kay and I) Instead of 30$ for a 3 course meal its now $35. Nonethless, it's still a bargain.My choices were:XIX Nineteen at the Park HyattThere Grilled Spanish Baby Octopus was fantastic. Chris had the Monkfish Loin and I had the Stewed Lamb which both melted in our mouth. The dessert was ok nothing to rave about.Ruth's Chris on Broad StreetI had the steak salad and for my main entrée the salmon. Everything was very good, except for my desert. I ordered the Bread Pudding and let?s just say it?s not how your momma would make it. It was very dry. We left a note, with her check. So when one of my girlfriends recommended we all get together for dinner, a show and drinks I was like, let?s go.It was kind of a rough week for me (I was broke) so I skip dinner and met up with them at the theater to see STOMP. A show I been meaning to see ever since it hit Broadway fifteen years ago.Merriam Theater is a small theater, so I never saw the point in buying front roll tickets, so we got the cheap seats, which were fine. I was able to see everything.STOMP, is a unique combination of percussion, movement and visual comedy, I enjoyed the show so much, that my girlfriends and I wanted to start up our own show???well sort of.Only thing about STOMP, it reminded me a lot of the Fraternities Step Shows that have been performed for last 50 or so years by Africans Americans. The Super Pet Expo was held at the Valley Forge Convention Center in King of Prussia. Dates: February 15-17. Tickets were $12.00 for adults, kids 12 & Under:$6 and kids 3 & Under: FREE.However if you signed up online, you'll receive an email with a link for a discount coupon for $2 off admission and free kids ticket.Tip for next year; go early on Friday, so you will miss the mad rush on Sunday. That's the mistake I made Sunday afternoon. The Valley Forge Convention Center?s lower level is but so big anyway, and coming on Sunday only made things worse. There were so many people with their pets and kids; it was hard to walk down the aisle.Nonetheless, I had a nice time viewing the various exhibit tables. Best part, free samples! I went to a Sixers game on 12/21/07 and was surprise with an extra treat. The 76ers honored members of the 1982-83 Championship Team during half-time. Julius "Dr. J" Erving, Clint Richardson and others were honored for the 25th anniversary of the 1982-83 NBA Championship team.Sixers were playing Philadelphia-native Kobe Bryant's Los Angeles Lakers.O by the way, my girlfriend and I couldn?t stop talking about how good Dr. J looked. Mütter Museum @ The College of Physicians of Philadelphia. Located 19S 22nd Street, the Mutter Museum was founded to educate future doctors about anatomy and human medical anomalies. Today, its collections include over 20,000 objects, and it serves as an informative resource to enlightening the public about our medical past and how far we evolve in the name of science. I can?t tell you the best time to go, but we went on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm and it was pretty pack with people. I am not sure if it was the weather (it was beautiful day in October) or the fact it was on a Saturday, but in any case prepare to spend about 2-3 hours to give your self enough time to look at everything. There is a lot of information absorb and the exhibits are extraordinary.
