Before going to London, Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs, presented by Mellon Financial Corporation, is making its last stop here in Phil adelphia ?s Franklin Institute February 3 through September 30, 2007. More than doubling the size of the original 1977 exhibition will be bringing close to 130 pieces of Egyptian antiquities, many outside of Egypt for the first time, to The Franklin Institute.Don?t miss out on this brilliant exhibit. When you go do it up right. I did the King Tut Hotel Package, which includes to 2 VIP tickets to the exhibit and stay overnight in lavishness accommodations. VIP tickets gain you entrance to the exhibition at anytime during exhibition hours. We were able to by pass the lines and walk right up to the exhibit entrance. For more information go to http://www2.fi.edu/tut/index.htmlhttp://w ww.gophila.com/C/Places_to_Stay/314/Hotel _Packages/315/U/King_Tut_Hotel_Package/21 20.htmlhttp://feeds.feedburner.com/MyPhil adelphia

Justine Timberlake Concert
2007-05-12 02:19:00
Yeah, Yeah, I know I am kinda late reporting this, but yes like many other young women in Philadelphia I went to Justin e Timberlake concert at the Wachovia Center on Tuesday, March 27. I also was scaring just like those sixteen years old, when Justine showed his "sexyback". Despite the fact it was more of a younger crowd, it was one of the best concerts I have seen in awhile. "Thanks Chris". To a mostly sold out crowd Justine proved to me that the "ex-Mouseketeer and former boy-band singer with the high-pitched voice" has migrated to a smoothie R&B singer. What most impressive was the stage design and the cloth video screens. The use of technology was the main focus throughout the whole concert. Welcome to the 21st century everybody.http://feeds.feedburner.com/MyP hiladelphia

Restaurant Week in Philadelphia
2007-05-10 23:51:00
Philadelphia Rest aurant Week 2007, January 28 through February 2Post your reviews of what restaurant is worth visiting again and which ones are not worth brining Kobee (inside joke) to. Feel free to include pictures.Below are the restaurants I visited.Fork - On a scale 1 to 10, I rate this restaurant an 8. I was pleased with the whole meal, but the best part of the meal was dessert (bread pudding) excellent.http://www.forkrestaurant.com/B liss - I was very disappointed all around. I had the Pekin Duck for my main entree and it was horrible. Once again best part of the meal was the dessert. Sweet Potato Tart which was excellent. The restaurant is very nice, but you can easily miss it and I know why. Don?t bother.http://www.bliss-restaurant.com/Al ma de Cuba ? I enjoyed everything about my meal except for the dessert which was this banana concoction. I had the ?Fried Cow? for my main entrée which was very good, if you like fried beef strips. On a scale 1 to 10 I would rate Alma de Cuba ...

Philadelphia Flower Show
2007-04-05 17:27:00
Yeah, I know. I think next year they need to rethink the signage. The 2007 Phil adelphia Flower Show , March 4-11. This year theme is "Legends of Ireland". The show will take you to a playground of Irish gardens, music, and dance. Check website for show times and ticket prices.http://www.theflowershow.com/home/ index.htmlI went on Sunday March 11, and it was crowded of course. However the last day is the best day to go, because you really can get great deals on plants, and flowers. Most of the time they are trying to get rid of what they have for the flower show, so you can get two for one deals. We got two big cactus for $20.Overall, great show. Check out my "My Flickr" for more pictures of the Flower Showhttp://feeds.feedburner.com/MyPhilade lphia
