LG and Netflix Team up
2008-01-03 17:53:00 Last week Apple made a deal to have a rentals on their i-Tunes. And Amazon teamed with Tivo to have rental movies brought to your box. This made sense for apple to do this. So we could expect other companies to get their own rental services out there. Netflix and LG are creating a set top box that will allow you to stream movies to you TV. This move seem very late. I remember a time(2years ago) when Tivo and Neflix were teaming up to create this service, but it have never happened. I guess this would work if the box are not too expensive also my big question are they going to have any new movies or is going to be that crappy stuff on their online streaming services. i-Tune Rentals
2007-12-28 17:32:00 I know I have already did this store but the BBC has done a feature on it and they explain much better then I did. Also the it is a video. If Steve Job is able to get the movie studios to agree the that rental is the way to go then Apple will be king of Hollywood. I know that piracy is very high in the music industry but in movies I really believe that people will want to rent and move on to the next movie. The movie studio are worried that they will have they will fall into the same trap as the music studio but I think most people will only watch a movie for just a few times and the i-Tune s rental is a great way to reach another market. This movie is an R rating and it looks really bad. I wonder how the unrated and uncut version will look on DVD. That is when i will see this movie. (there is some nude in this trailer.) The latest problem is they figured out is they have created a robot that can solve that Rubik's cube problem. The reason they have said was because of the losing money and the plan to focus on two panel technologies -- the liquid crystal display and organic light-emittin diode. ( Congratulation Jobs) but the new deal with News Corp?s 20th Century Fox will start allowing rentals of movies from movies. I really like this move because who wants to own all the movies from you watch. I am one of those who like to rent more then own, because if I own I will only watch the movie once and it will be years before I will watch it again. So I great for those who are i-tunes stuck and i-pod owners now you will not feel guilty deleting movies from you i-pod when it gets full. My guess is Disney will so follow in the i-rental-movie-business. 2007-12-27 17:28:00 I am not too sure what this all mean but it seem the Japan ese have new technology that allows a person be duplicated in a 3d format. I get this will be helpful at the barber shops. You will be able to see the hair cut you want and try out the different styles. Also another use would be in trying on clothes at the store. You will not have go to the dressing room. As for a pervert stand point you can but an image of the one you are stalking in different clothes. Think of the live this will save. More About: Tech

Format Wars
2007-12-26 19:33:00 The Format Wars is still going strong. This is not surprising because both sides are still not backing down. The war is between Blu-ray and HD DVD. Major blow were taken by both sides. The HDDVD teamed up with Wal-mart to sell players for $98 for the Holiday season. This strike would have killed the Blu-ray camp but it was only temperate. Wal-mart was only selling them as a promo. But they do have $199 machine for sale but I think HDDVD has not hit the sweet price point that will beat Blu-ray. Blu-ray has aggressively used the marketing department to get the word out on the new format. (If you went into any best buy you would have seen the Ads on all the HD TVS). Also on print, TV and all over the internet is where you can find Ads for the Blu-ray. Sony is the one back the Blu-ray. They have put a Blu-ray player in there Playstaion 3 game console. Since I have eaten too much and need a little work out I thought it would be good to start with a Action Trailer.Hell boy II: The Golden Army is the name and the director is the guy who did Pan Labyrinth. It seem like after you get your big break in Hollywood, you have to do some big budget crappy movie. I am sure he is getting paid very well and he will do a good job of creative a movie (that I will watch someday on cable), but something tell me he will not be remembered for this picture.
