Advertising Space - Robbie's best ballad/song

I often wondered what's my favorite Robbie Williams song, and I always come to the same conclusion - "Advertising Space ". Even though "Angels" was voted to be the best British song in the last quarter of the century, I like the new ballad a bit better. Don't get me wrong, "Angels" is astonishing great, so I didn't even consider it for choosing it as his best song.Robbie once said that he wanted to be remembered for the greatness of his songs once when he finishes his career. When he worked on "Intensive Care" album he composed it intentionally so maybe in ten years time people will hear "Advertising Space" and remember him and the time they spent back then.I especially like this song because of that. It speaks of love, suffer and fall. Robbie composed it thinking of Elvis Presley, but my opinion is that these feelings can be applied to anyone, not just famous singers and celebrities. After all, we are all human, loving and hurting. Aren't we?Enjoy the song from the video above :)

Robbie's MTV Europe Music Awards Nominations

Robbie Williams is nominated in this year's two MTV Euro pe Music Awards categories! He's in a Best Male and Best Pop category with such stars and competitors like Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Sean Paul and in the Best Pop he's up against Madonna, Shakira and others. I sincerely hope that Robbie will won both categories as he deserves them. I'm actually surprised he wasn't nominated for Best Album award as "Intensive Care" was such a success. More than 5 million copies were sold in the Europe alone and Robbie made 2 chart hits from "Intensive Care": Tripping & Advertising Space. Sin Sin Sin as good as any, but it didn't made it to the top of the charts as the other singles did.So, these 2 nominations are maybe a way of making Robbie a worldwide pop star and a celebrity in the States. Video was filmed on the 15th and 16th of August in Vienna, Austria. Song has it's electro beat similar to "Rudebox", but doesn't has so much rap to it - it's more like a dance song. Scenes from the video show Robbie dancing around hundreds of girls on the beat and sings all the same in some pretty cool, what is supposed to be, dance floor or a disco. Our celebrated star Robb ie Williams has made, yet another blunder and showed himself in most greedy and egocentric light ever. The latest controversy is a major backlash over contracts he is forcing photographers to sign before his gigs.Robbie (32) is making snappers release the rights to their photos, so he can use them on merchandise and pocket any money the pictures make after their initial use. Pop star Robbie Will iams is reportedly being treated for depression at top London clinic The Priory after canceling the Asian leg of his world tour earlier this month (September, 6th). The Angelsstar, who has battled depression in the past, is struggling in the charts with his new single Rudebox and is facing legal action from ex-manager Nigel Marting-Smith over a song Williams wrote about him on his new album. Williams told a BBC documentary this month (September the 6th): I could get up in front of 35,000 or 40,000 people and go, 'Look at me, I'm ace'. Then I'd get in the tour coach, go back to my bedroom and pull the duvet over my eyes. A source close to him says: He has suffered from depression before, but feels things are getting much worse and the tour was too much.Could this be a sign for a clinic rehabilitation? Milton Keynes Shows Review

Robbie's record breaking concerts at Milton Keynes have finished without a serious incident. Even though the his 5 shows were viewed by more than 320 000 viewers, organisers and the local authorities have praised fans who went to the Robbie Williams concerts as well as local residents. Local police was very satisfied with the minimum of crime that happened during the concert events considering the number of people and traffic that was overcrowding the city. The only reported crimes were two robberies and three people were arrested in connection with break ins into two cars. I must say that I'm on the edge of my nerves waiting for "Rudebox" to come out and counting the days until the release date, 23rd of October. I'll be honest and fair and I'll say that I enjoy both "Rudebox" and "Lovelight" singles very much in spite their low chart success (or unsuccessful?). I can't wait for the new album to come out, so in the mean time I enjoy the Robb ie music I already have: Intensive Care, Sing When Your Winning and the new singles. I've finally got! After searching on the web for a while and wondering why nobody uploaded the entire "Love light" video to YouTube, the video just appeared on YouTube site few minutes ago. First thing I've done was sharing it with my blog readers 'cuz after all, Robbie's music is what our blog is all about and new single like "Lovelight" is huge news. I must say that I like the new song and video much better than the "Rudebox" for it's melody and rhythm. "Rudebox" has too much rap to it and I couldn't get used to it until I heard the song few more times. I can't wait the new album to come out, I'm even crossing the dates on my calendar until the 23rd of October, which is the date of the "Rudebox" album release.
