Joey the Jew: Lying Us Into War, Again by Charley Reese The drumbeat for war against Iran has begun again, led by Sen. Joe Lieberman, the independent Democrat from Connecticut, and the usual pro-Isra el crowd. Lieberman seems to be under the impression that the U.S. can bomb Iran and not get into a full-fledged war. Well, we know all about cakewalks and how they turn into long, bloody and dreary marches. We learned nothing from Vietnam, and apparently some of the people have learned nothing from Iraq, now a cakewalk war that has lasted longer than World War II, though not with the same intensity and mass. If the senator, who seems to be one of those who loves war as long as he doesn't have to fight it, really believes that we can attack Iran without Iranian retaliation, then he's naive. If he knows better, he's a liar, and to lie the American people into a second war before the other lied-into war in Iraq is even over is despicable. He should be shunned by all decent people. I do...

Experts Cast Doubt on Credibility of JFK Terror Plot
2007-06-06 08:43:00
NEW YORK (AFP) - An alleged plot to blow up fuel tanks and pipelines at New York's JFK airport had little chance of success, according to safety experts, who have questioned whether the plot ever posed a real threat. US authorities said Saturday they had averted an attack that could have resulted in "unfathomable damage, deaths, and destruction," and charged four alleged Islamic radicals with conspiracy to cause an explosion at the airport. But according to the experts, it would have been next to impossible to cause an explosion in the jet fuel tanks and pipeline. Furthermore, the plotters seem to have lacked the explosives and financial backing to carry out the attack.

Britney Spears Letter to Her Fans
2007-05-30 09:24:00
Dear Fans ,I just wanted to reach out to all of you and explain some of the things that I have been faced with recently. It's so funny how many stories are put out there about people. It's like we all want our side of the story out there as well, but at the end of the day only a few people care to hear what is really going on since the bad is always so much more interesting than the truth. I don't know why, but this is so weird to me. I used to be angry at the tabloids for printing horrible things about me, but now I try to just be numb to what I see. I saw Tyra Banks once get really upset and cry on her show because they made her look fat. We all want a certain image of ourselves out there, and at some point we all do really care what other people think or we wouldn't be here.

2007-05-30 09:16:00
Paul Wolf owitz may have been ousted from his post at the World Bank, but a free-speaking GOP lawmaker has an idea to keep the so-called "architect" of the Iraq War from standing in the unemployment line. "I would like to suggest...that maybe we give Paul Wolfowitz a new job and send him over [to Iraq] as mayor," said Rep. Walter Jones, R-N.C., "since the neocons got us in over there."

The Original Wineburger..It is the Best Burger in Town! My Burger that I or
2007-05-26 07:16:00
My Sandwich Friday..Across From the Hospital Where I Have Been for the Last 3 Weeks 1800 Miles From Home. 19th and Bethany Home Rd. in PhoenixThe Original Wineburger was founded in 1965 on the basis of a local neighborhood bar and grill that served the best hamburger anywhere. Located near Christown Mall the Wineburger has served over 3 million hamburgers since opening its doors. Almost every native to the valley has enjoyed a Wineburger at one point and generations of families continue to be their loyal following. The Wineburger has always been a family owned business. In keeping with that tradition, the business was sold to Steve Iverson by his uncle John VanEenanaam in August of 1999. Since then a strong effort has been made to maintain the original concept so that future Wineburgers can be opened using the same philosophy and formula as the original. The original restaurant has been modified with televisions and music to accommodate today's "sports hungry" clientele. Annual eve...

COWARDS!
2007-05-22 18:10:00
A. Alexander, progressivedailybeacon.com May 22nd, 2007It would be nice to be able to say, "We never saw that coming," but that would be a lie. Deep down inside, everyone knew that the Democrats would eventually cower before Bush's Iraq war belligerence. These Democrats are after all, more or less, the same spineless crew that rolled over and voted for Mister Bush to invade Iraq in the first place. And don't let them rewrite history...Democrats knew the basis for war was a pack of lies, they just didn't have the courage to stand and be counted.Coward s!Now, right on cue, after months of bobbing and weaving and huffing and puffing and fronting and punking --- the Democrats caved and have decided to write a blank check for Mister Cheney and Bush's Iraq War. Everything Bush demanded the Democrats will deliver - including NO TIMELINE for withdrawal.Cowards !Every major poll in the nation revealed that a large majority of the American people were on the Democrats' side. All the Democr...
