150,000-200,000 Protesters Stream to Tel Aviv to Demand Olmert Resignation
2007-05-04 11:05:00 The protest was called after an official inquiry panel concluded Monday that Olmert and Defense Minister Amir Peretz had rushed into war without a detailed plan or realistic goals. In 34 days of fighting, the army failed to crush the Hezbollah militia, stop it from firing rockets into Israel, or free two captured soldiers. Past protests in the Tel Aviv square have started political earthquakes. A demonstration there after Israel's disastrous 1973 war led to the resignation of Prime Minister Golda Meir and Defense Minister Moshe Dayan. In 1982, hundreds of thousands marched to the square to protest Israel's involvement in the massacre of Palestinian refugees in Beirut by a Christian militia, a step toward the resignation of then-Defense Minister Ariel Sharon and the eventual retirement of Prime Minister Menachem Begin. Sanjaya Malakar Momjaya Starring in the Bong Show
2007-05-03 13:43:00 Posted May 2nd 2007 9:00AM by TMZ StaffFiled under: Celebrity Justice, American IdolSanjay a Malakar 's mom -- who's already served jail time for some serious pot production -- could be in more hot legal bongwater after this photo of her was snapped at a Hollywood party in March. In the shot, obtained by the National Enquirer, the Momjaya appears to be holding what is euphemistically called a hookah pipe and a lighter. According to a source cited by the Enquirer, the 41-year-old Blyth could be in more trouble if this picture suggests that "she's continuing to break the law," especially because, says the paper, she was sentenced under 12 months of "community supervision" as part of her felony conviction on drug charges in 2005 that required her to be drug-free. On the other hand, says the Enquirer, her legal case was officially closed last year. More About: Show , Arri

The two products may be contaminated with E. coli bacteria. The potential for this contamination was determined after random testing performed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services revealed the presence of E.coli bacteria in samples of both of the cheeses. "The discovery of this problem demonstrates the importance of an integrated pro-active food safety program, where products from stores and food processors are not only inspected but tested in our labs, as well," Bronson said. 2007-04-26 14:41:00 The war in Iraq has greatly increased the terrorist danger. There was little or no terrorism, insurgency or civil war in Iraq before Bush and Cheney took us into war there five years ago. Now Iraq has become a breeding ground of terrorism, a bloody insurgency against our troops and a civil war. Beyond the deaths of more than 3,100 young Americans and an estimated 600,000 Iraqis, we have spent nearly $500 billion on the war, which has dragged on longer than World War II. In another saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, then whisk in 2 tablespoons of flour and let the mixture cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Add 1 cup milk. Heat the mixture until it just starts to simmer, then stir with a whisk to make sure flour and butter get properly mixed in with the milk. Within a minute or two of simmering, the white sauce will thicken. Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese. Mix the cooked noodles with the sauce, top with fresh ground black pepper. This recipe scales well to feed a large group. Make sure to undercook the pasta a little bit, because it will soften some more after you drain it, and you don't want it to be all mushy. More About: Cheese , Maca 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 |
