(divided use)1/4 cup + 1 tbsp butter1/2 teaspoon salt1/8 teaspoon pepper1 dash garlic powder1 lb crab meat1 can cream of celery soup (10oz)3/4 cup evaporated milk1/4 cup dry bread crumbsPreheat oven to 350 F. Saute celery, green onion and 1 cup pecans in 1/4 cup butter until vegetables are crisy-tender. Add salt, pepper and garlic. Stir in crab meat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add soup; gradually stir in milk. Pour into baking dish, sprinkle with bread crwnbs and remaining pecans: pat with remaining butter. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until brown.Makes 4 to 6 servings. 2007-08-31 12:45:00 7 oz crabmeat2 tablespoon cornstarch1/4 teaspoon marjoram1 dash garlic salt1/4 cup celery, finely chopped3 tablespoon onion, finely chopped1/4 cup reduced-calorie mayonnaise36 round crackersDrain the liquid from the crabmeat into a small microwave bowl or measuring cup. Stir in the cornstarch until dissolved. Stir in the marjoram and garlic salt. With the microwave on HIGH, cook for 30 seconds. Stir and return to the microwave for 30 more seconds if the mixture is not clear and thickened. Allow to cool. Flake the crabmeat. Combine the flaked crabmeat, celery, onion and mayonnaise in a bowl. Stir in the crab liquid. Divide the crabmeat mixture evenly between the 36 crackers. Place 12 crackers in a circle around the edge of a paper plate (do the same for two more plates). Microwave on medium-high (70%) until thickened, 4 to 7 minutes, stirring with wire whisk two or three time during cooking. Stir small amount of hot mixture into egg yolks; return to mixture.
