I bought this at the Mitsuwa closing sale. I think it was about $1 after 50% off. It's Yuzu Okayu (congee).What is okayu? CLICK HERE.Usually okayu is served hot, but this package says it's more delicious if you eat it cold. I thought that's kinda weird. But I did it anyway, since it says so. But I think I prefer okayu hot. It did have real yuzu in it and you can actually taste yuzu a lot. But I probably won't purchase this again. Pizza from Domino's. When we order Domino's, we always ask if they have any specials, and they did. It's $5.99 for a 1-topping large pizza. Each extra topping was $1.60 or so. Total for 2 large pizza was $13.77 + $1.14 tax = $14.91. We both got 1 extra topping. $15 for 2 pizzas is not so bad, however, we were disappointed with Domino's this time. The sauce tasted like from cheap pre-made jar. The crust also wasn't good. My husband made this bruschetta using what we had in the fridge. From bottom: French bread, olive oil, chopped garlic, pepperoni slices, diced fresh tomato and shredded mozzarella cheese. Put in the oven at 425 and bake for a few minutes.

When we went to Little Tokyo Mitsuwa 2 days before they closed, and I saw these. The price tag says $1.99, but everything was 50% off, so they were 99 cents each.What is dorayaki? CLICK HERE.Basic dorayaki usually has red bean paste in it, but these had a fig and/or pomegranate jam spread between red bean paste and pancake. We loved these. These are delicious. Especially we liked the fig. Fig had more stronger flavor than pomegranate.So if you see them at the supermarket (you can probably get at Mitsuwa), try it. I recommended! I don't know if I just don't like salmon burgers or just this one, but I personally don't recommended. The reason I got this salmon burger was because the waiter recommended it last time. I didn't try the fried pickles, so I don't know if it's good or not. But my husband said they were tasty. Sensi at Bellagio. We received this really good offer from Bellagio. It was 2 tickets to see "O", free rooms, free food at select restaurants, and lunch for 2 at Sensi. I believe we could use up to $200 here. But after ordering all this food, it was still just a little over $150. But this was so much food, we were both so full. We had a good experience here.The service was excellent. Food was good too, but I felt like we ordered too much raw fish. I wish I had chosen either "roll on summer" or "sashimi selection", not both. I really liked the wonton soup. It's expensive for wonton soup, if you are paying with your own money, but the stock was very tasty, and everything, including stock and wontons, is all homemade. So I think it's worth it. Sushi rolls were very stuffed and kinda heavy. Just these rolls would be enough for your lunch.Desserts were good, too, although I think I don't like tapioca in desserts like this. I like boba but I guess that's different. Still, the tap...

Quiznos - free subs from Million Subs Giveaway

So we got these Quiznos free subs. I know that some of you had problems. In fact, there are a few Quiznos in my neighborhood, and one of the stores says "no coupons", other one says "you must buy chips and a drink to get a free sub" or something like that. But there is one Quiznos that accepted the free sub coupons, so we got these for free without showing ID or anything (but we had to pay for tax, it was 84 cents for two). Also the people who work there weren't jerks. So that was lucky, I guess, since there were so many people who couldn't get it for free.CLICK HERE to read about all these people who had trouble getting free subs.Also I don't think they really reached a million subs, they probably stopped before it reached a million, due to all these people complaining. This was my second time at Quiznos, and I'd never pay my own money to eat there. Quiznos subs are really small, and not enough toppings. We were thinking to go to the cafe, but there was a long line so we decided to get Subway sandwiches. We got two footlong subs, and the total was $20 plus a couple cents. Wok's Cookin ' in Castaic, California. Why Chinese food in Castaic?? It's a truck stop area off the freeway. If you want good Chinese food, you always should go to the area where real Chinese people live, like Monterey Park. So I knew this place was gonna suck. The reason we tried here was because my husband was checking Yelp and I guess his friends reviewed this place or recommended it or something, and he wanted to try. But driving to Castaic and getting Chinese food was the wrong idea. It'sa small place and inside has a vintage look. It's expensive for what you get.Everything we ordered was terrible. But especially the fried rice was the worst. The meat tasted so weird and we put all the meat in the trash. We were joking how maybe they used dead animal meat from next door (there was an animal hospital next door). Soup tasted like canned vegetables.They also have a lunch buffet for $8.25, 11am-2pm, if you wanna try out their food. I personally think $8 for Chinese lunch buffe...
