Recommended. The cookie puff was good, too. Cheesecake was kinda disappointing. I didn't think it was delicious. Now Beard Papa is selling mini croissants. We had a coupon for a free burger at Red Robin . We got the A1 Peppercorn Burger . Usually it's $9.99.The burger comes with fries, and the fries are all-you-can-eat. Our waitress split our burger and fries for us, that's why the pictures only show a half burger. It was about the right portion for us. We were both full from this half portion. I can't imagine most people eating this whole burger. They must feel sick after eating this.I was happy with my first-time Red Robin burger. I mean, it's free. Tasted fine. Homemade Sour Cream Pound Cake . Recipe from "Virginia Hospitality" cookbook. Instead of a tube pan, we used a regular loaf pan. Sour Cream Pound Cake1 cup butter, softened3 cups sugar6 eggs1 cup sour cream1/4 tsp. baking soda1/4 tsp. baking powder1/4 tsp. salt3 cups sifted flour1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract1 1/2 tsp. almond extractPreheat oven to 300F. Cream butter. Add sugar, 1 cup at a time. Beat at high speed after each addition. Add whole eggs, 1 at a time, beating well at medium speed. Add sour cream, beating well. Add soda, baking powder and salt to flour. Then add dry ingredients, 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add flavorings. Pour into well-greased tube pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Let stand 10 minutes before removing from pan.

Encore Las Vegas hotel room. It's very nice. Room s are close to elevators. Everyday, there were 2 complimentary bottles of water on the desk. We stayed 3 nights and I was very tired, but I couldn't have deep sleep at all. Maybe the bed or pillow wasn't so comfortable for me. It looked fine to me, but I was keep waking up every hour every night. Also the Encore has a big menu of the room service (but expensive).I don't have any complaint about the room, but be sure to check your bill on the TV a day before you check out. Somehow, we had got charges for a spa fee that we didn't use. We had to fill out a dispute form saying that we didn't charge anything. Casinos make mistakes like this all the time. It happened at The Palazzo before. They charged us $100 for food at the cafe, and we didn't eat there. They also had a new higher-quality hair dryer, which I loved using. The only complaint would be the mini bar. We noticed there was left-over food in the mini bar from somebody before us, and also some of the items were missing. We called about it to make sure we wouldn't get charged, and for them to fill up the mini bar and clean out the old left-over food. But nobody cleaned it or filled up the missing items while we were there, which was 2-3 days.Mini bar with left-over food + missing items. I wonder how old that food was. Fellini's Italian Restaurant at Stratosphere. Believe it or not, we actually liked the food here. I thought (almost) all the restaurants at Stratosphere suck (I say that because we tried all their restaurants), but this place was good. My calamari tasted fresh and it was very good, also my scampi was tasty, my husband liked his chicken. The mousse was OK, but the strawberry was tasty. I wanted to get stuffed portobello, but they said the stuffing is premade so they can't remove the cheese. Too bad.Everything was pretty big portions. Not only food, but their menu is also huge. Just the pasta, they have about 20 different pastas, also 14 entrees, 8 chef's specials, 6 pizzas, 10 appetizers, and 10 salads and soups, plus dessert. It'll take a while to decide what you wanna eat.You probably can't tell from the picture, but the chicken entree was really huge, it's probably enough to share with 2-3 people.We probably go back there this month, and hopefully we'll like it again and...
