What is most likely to be in your handbag? Apart from the obvious, I always have some sweets and medical travel supplies like painkiller, antacid and even nail clipper? Why nail clipper, well sometimes you chip your nail and it leaves sharp edges, what do you do? You can't very well go through the day and start snaring everything with that sharp nail that can even hurt yourself can you? Siput Sedut Affair

It's been a while since I had "Siput Sedut" and this is a dish that is not often sold at food stall. I guess it's because it is so tedious to prepare. The cooking process is easy enough but the cleaning of the "Siput" itself is time consuming and then the chopping of the end portion of each of the "Siput" so that we can suck the content out is another story altogether. I've prepared this dish a few times before but suffice to say, I would rather just buy it when it is available at the food stall.Well yesterday, the food stall that we frequent, had the dish available.I had a bowl already there and because it had been a while, I decided that I would want to have it for dinner as well.. and here it is... all nicely reheated and served with white rice.. all ready to be consumed by Azwaj and yours truly.. I was reading an article on dental implants Plano when A suddenly showed up at the front door and he said "I'm hungry"..lolI was instantly on housewife mode and started preparing dinner. Times like this calls for quick and easy dishes and this is one of my favorite easy peasy veggie dish.. It's yummy and healthy without the hassle..Ingredients:Brocolli, Carrot, Prawn, Garlic, Chilli, Oyster SauceMethodSaute sliced garlic with chilli. Add prawn and oyster sauce, followed by a glass of water. Add the veggies. Leave on flame for a few minutes. It was raining heavily today so instead of eating out, we decided that Azwaj should make his famous lamb chop for dinner. We were at Low Yatt today as Azwaj wanted to check out some rackmount for his client. I guess people are still in Raya mood as the place is not as crowded as it is usually around lunch time.Anyway, after getting the information that Azwaj needed, we went on Giant to do some grocery shopping. As much as I love blogging, I do think sometimes that I have TOO many blogs! LOL!! I sometimes forgot which blog I need to update and how long ago it was that I updated this blog for instance. I also sometimes forgot which blogs I have optimized for traffic and SEO. That is why any tools that makes my easy like free traffic generator or free seo software is always welcome. Take away the hassle of thinking too much for sure.. lol!That being said.. perhaps more food pictures like this pretty pineapple tarts would bring the traffic in and perhaps even put me on the front page of google search? What are tv stands good for, besides being a tv stand of course? Well, they make great make-shift buffet table! At my old apartment where table tops are a luxury (the landlord didn't provide us with kitchen cabinets), we used tv stands as table top whenever we entertained. Busy Preparing for Saturday

Both me and A are in a festive mood this Raya and we decided since it's our new home and all, we will have a small get together for friends and relatives this Saturday . I would be cooking my Sambal Goreng, Rendang and Chicken curry while A would prepare his oxtail soup. Yums!!!Since our apartment is a distance away from the security post and the visitor's parking, I'm thinking of putting up a cardboard display sign indicating for guest how to get to our block but A is thinking that is a tad too much. Cold in 5 minutes

I've never lived anywhere that is extremely cold before. The coldest place that I've been to was in Tokyo and even then the temperature wasn't that cold when I was there. Now at my current place which is on a hilly area, I'm with my sweater most times even when it is mid-day! I may not have the best of any digital cameras around but I do have Miss Velvet Blue..my trusted phone cum digital camera cum video camera. Thanks to it, I am able to snap photos of all the food pictures you see here at this blog.. just like the one you see below of my "breakfast" today.. Laksa Serawak!I've been craving for this since I found this stall and we've been very unlucky since each time we go over, it's always out of stock. Mee Kolok Stain That Won't Go Away!

We were having dinner last night, yummylicious Mee Kolok and without my knowledge, I had spilled some of the soya sauce on the marble flooring. I only realised it like 1hour later and what do you know.. it has stained the floor.. boohoo.. (not this would not have happened if we had porcelain tiles but alas.. )After an unsuccessful effort to try to remove the stain last night, I tried again this morning and still the darn stain won't go away!! Delicious Mutton Curry

This is the best Mutton Curry from Ali Maju Restaurant. It is not only yummy.. it is also cheap.. a plate like this only cost RM3.00 and if you frequent Indian shops you know they charge you a hand and foot to eat their rice and other dishes.Unfortuntely they are closed for renovation this Ramadhan which means no delish Mutton curry for yours truly though I'm thinking I may still need some best weight loss pill to get rid of all these extra weight I think I've gained from eating too much! I love online backup especially when I'm traveling. That way I not only have backup for my data but also I am able to access all my important files even though I'm not in my home office. For example I was able to access my recipe files so that I was able to counter check with my mom on why my Rendang dish is not tasting the same as when she made it! lol!.. talk about technology eh?Cheerio...First
