If there is one thing that everyone I know would agree on is that my mommy is one hell of a cook. She is the greatest cook ever as far as I am concern and one of the thing that I look forward to when I return home to Singapore is the gastronomical delight that I would be in for. I mean she would spoil me with all my favourite dishes and if there was anything that I particularly request for, be assured it will be on the dining table before I leave. Just check out the pictures below and tell me if you are already drolling by just looking at it! Lolzz! So is it any wonder if I am actually scared to go on the weighing machine after all that yummylicious food? Or if I am now really looking at options to lose all those calories and burn those cholesterol from all that rich food?I read somewhere that rebounders are the best way to exercise. What are rebounders?Rebounders are similar to trampoline, just like this picture here. I actually research the term and found the Cellercise with the D...

I love eating at Nandos. The chicken is tender and well marinated, the rice is fluffy and delicious and the bottled sauces can be eaten with almost anything. I even bought a few bottles and do my own version of the grilled chicken at home.So guess what we had for dinner tonight? It was raining and we didn't feel like going out but we felt like having Nandos. So we did the next best thing, have Nandos delivered to our home. You heard me, now Nandos deliver right to your doorsteps. They serve the same menu as their restaurant and only charge RM2.00 for delivery! This is not an ad for them but I just wanted to share in the good news with you guys. Just click on the banner and enjoy your meal at home. So, what's your peri emergency??Cheerio...

Fast Food...hmm
2008-03-15 04:49:00
When I was growing up, like any young teenager, I love fast food. Simply because it was good and delicious and economical. Now I know better. Me and Azwaj rarely eat fast food anymore unless there is nothing else to eat where we were at. How about you??Cheerio...

My Father-in-Law's Favourite Hangout
2008-01-27 10:33:00
My FIL simply love Suzi's corner over in Ampang and I don't blame him. Aside from the great food and lots of variety, the service is great as well. They serve Satay, all sorts of noodle, and western food to rival the big restaurants. I'll let the pictures do the talking ya!Cheerio...

Nandos - Bukit Bintang
2008-01-02 19:32:00
I just love eating at Nandos. If I am not mistaken, they don't have any restaurant in Singapore which makes it an ideal place to bring my Singaporean friends when they do come over.Basically the restaurant serve Chicken with your choice of sidelines. I decided this time around to treat my hubby using the paypal money I've withdrawn to my Al-Rajhi Debit card. Here's a pictures of the what we both had.Cheerio...

Putu Piring
2007-12-19 13:33:00
I love Putu Piring which is a Malay desert meaning steamed rice cakes filled with brown sugar. I remember when I was growing up, our religious teacher sold this delicacy from her home and buying them after each class became a very bad habit that my mother had to stop as it spoiled my appetite for dinner. Then as I grew up I remember seeing less and less of this delicious sweet disappearing from the scene and it got more and more difficult to find anyone selling them. I soon forgot all about them. When I got married and moved here, much to my delight, I "found" them again. Now, mind you this is not the first time I'm having them again but this is the first time I remembered to take photo of them. So here they are...Cheerio...
Bakso Anyone?
2007-12-12 18:25:00
We were out to PutraJaya today and upon reaching Pandan Indah, we were hungry after that run-around from lack of good road sign. Anyway, we found this restaurant that was called the Matahari and they had a stall selling Bakso, which is a tradional Indonesian noodle dish or I think that's where it's from. Anyone from Indonesia that can enlightened us?Anyway, I've loved this dish when I was in Jakarta and ever since then, been looking for a good Bakso Noodle here in KL. So, I was delighted when I tried this place and found that the Bakso served there was not bad at all. In fact, it was kinda nice. Definitely a return visit is in order and a bowl only cost RM3.00.Cheerio...
Our Lunch Today
2007-12-09 15:28:00
Since my Salmon Soup was such a hit the last time I made it, hubby suggested that I cooked it for lunch today for our friend who slept over last night. Since I still had the ingredients available for the soup and Cencalok, I figured I replicated what I did last time. Only this time we gonna have it with chicken instead of more fish.In case you guys are wondering what on earth is Cencalok, it is actually a condiment made of very fine prawns that is fermented and easily available in bottles. To make the best Cencaluk dip to be eaten with warm rice and fish or chicken, you need to add onions, chillies and lime to the cencaluk or fermented prawns.Yummylicious!!!Cheerio...

The Best Place for Dinner
2007-12-08 22:39:00
I'm gonna introduce to you this eating place that me and hubby have been patronizing since we got married and that is about 7 years now. It's in Bukit Indah, Ampang and they serve the best food ever. It's called Selera Mutiara and it's always pack daily, so you might have to wait quite a long time for your food but let me tell you, "It's WORTH every waiting second!". However, let me warn you again, this is not the place to eat if you are extremely hungry coz you might have to wait up to even 1hour for your meal to arrive, especially if it's during their peak period which starts around 7.00pm.We had dinner with friends again at Selera Mutiara tonight and I thought I share the meal with you. We had Ikan Bawal Masak Pedas (Pomfret in Chilli Gravy), Telur Bungkus (Egg with Beef) and Kailan Ikan Masin (Kai Lan with Salted Egg). There were four of us and the bill came up to RM33.00 inclusive of drinks. Cheap and Good!Cheerio...

My Hari Raya Dishes
2007-12-08 19:00:00
I've got so many other blogs, so what is one more right? Lolz!.. and what are Singaporeans and Malaysians favourite past time? Eating of course! So my latest blog is all about EATING!...As a start, I present my Hari Raya dishes, the "Rendang" and "Sambal Goreng". This is my first attempt at making the Rendang. I've been staying here in KL for 7 years now and have not tasted any Rendang like the way my mom made it so I decided to give it a try.. Hubby gave me an 10 out of 10 but I think he was being kind!...lolzz.. I give myself a 7. Still room for improvement. The Sambal Goreng is my speciality. This is a dish that I've only started to make when I got married and stayed away from my mom. I am an expert at this, if I do say so myself...hehehheWikipedia has a fantastic description of the Rendang (left).Rendang is made from beef (or occasionally chicken, mutton) slowly cooked in coconut milk and spices for several hours until almost all the liquid is gone, leaving the meat coated in...
