FRANCHISES
2007-08-11 21:46:00
Everybody knows what a franchise is: basically you pay many thousands of dollars for the right to sell hamburgers, tacos or pizza in a corner. Since I do not have funds for applying for patents in all countries, I am offering the exclusive right to manufacture, sell, distribute my patented Hotsmart(TM) products for the cost of filing in the country of your choice $5,000 to $10,000 licensing fee plus negotiable royalties (5% for the first 5 years). I own the priority rights for all patent cooperation treaty countries (PCT application). I am offering entire countries not just a corner. This is a patented technology, you will have the monopoly. (You won't have to commpete with the guy in the next corner selling hamburgers and the profit margins ares great). DEADLINE FOR THIS OFFER IS AUGUST 31 2007 (The USA, Canada and China are no longer available for exclusive license)CALL NOW! jjrb230@sbcglobal.net 1-915-599-1777 Juan J. Ramirez

BLACK HEAT RETENTIVE PLATE
2007-08-11 00:19:00
THE JOHNY CASH COMPONENTS (Guess why I call it that)I even glazed the heater in black (If you look carefully you will see it on the base), It was sealed using Bondmaster(TM) ECCOBOND A359, a one part (actually two premixed) epoxy that cures in 5 minutes at 350 F. It works just fine.for this prototype I reduced the amount of iron filings in half and I added some charcoal (I had just read that the price of metals is increasing).

CERAMIC HOT PLATE, HEAT RETENTIVE
2007-08-10 23:36:00
HOT PLATECeramic heat retentive plate see: http://www.heatstoragedish.comhttp://www. heatretentiveplates.com Practically everything is clay; the heater in the cavity contains some iron filings. it is made out of red earthenware, but white earthenware and other ceramics can be used.

THERMOGRAM OF HEAT RETENTIVE PLATE
2007-08-10 23:27:00
THERMOGRAM OF A HEAT RETENTIVE PLATEThe colors show the thermal gradient that keep the plate from breaking due to thermal shock. Temperatures as high as 230 F can be reached at the center (With just one minute preheating) while the rim does not get hot for easy handling. The photo was taken during the cooling down phase and does not reflect the maximum temperature reached. obviously, if you do not want it that hot, you have the option of preheating for less than a minute.

HEATER FOR HEAT RETENTIVE PLATES
2007-08-10 20:45:00
The heater is just red earthenware with 10 to 20 % iron filings (The mesh size that you typically get from a brake shop. The traces of carbon create a conductive path that in the microwave oven creates a short circuit inside the plate but this is under control and the shape of the heater (Convex) creates a thermal gradient that keeps the ceramic plate from cracking due to thermal shock. The plates are HOT and SMART Hotsmart(TM). Carbon can be added and iron can be reduced. No book is written yet, experimentation is good.

BABY DISH, JUST A SKETCH
2007-08-10 04:08:00
Does not need water, just about 30 secons preheating time. About 4 million babies are born in USA every year. obviously this is just the conception of the idea, but the technology has been tested in HEAT RETENTIVE PLATES, COFFEE MUGS and TORTILLA WARMERS.

HEAT RETENTIVE TORTILLA WARMER
2007-08-04 22:31:00
A common plastic tortilla warmer relies only on insulation to try to keep the heat stored in the tortillas from escaping, but the heat stored in the tortillas is very little because of their low thermal mass, my invention captures lots of heat fast and releases it slowly, at a controlled rate. This is not a theory, we have been using it and testing it for years. As a matter of fact, this is what gave birth to the HEAT RETENTIVE PLATES. I decided that maybe not everybody eats tortillas, but everybody uses plates. This is changing though, huge tortilla plants are been set up in California and in China. Tortillas are going "global"

HEAT RETENTIVE COFFEE MUG
2007-07-29 18:10:00
A POSSIBLE CONFIGURATION FOR A COFFEE MUGSame simple HotSmart(TM) technology as the heat retentive plate, a heat retentive coffee mug that you just have to "zap" in the microwave oven for one minute and pour your coffee as usual. It will keep it hot to the last sip. it does not overheat the coffee, the flow of heat can be easily regulated by changing the gap between the heater and the mug and/or changing the thickness of the bottom of the mug. The technology is no longer available for exclusive license in the USA.

Simple design for laminated glass (Sketch)
2007-06-25 19:04:00
When you don't have to worry about thermal shock because you have the ideal light weigth material resistant to heat, the design can be very simple.CORELLE (TM) has this material available although it is not as elegant as ceramic or poecelainThe plates would be ideal for daily use at home.

An excellent light weight material by CORELLE (TM)
2007-06-22 20:35:00
All it takes to make a heat retentive plate is:1) Modify the mold to add a separator and centering boss on the underside of the plate2) Assemble the heater upsidedown using epoxy resin3) Assemble the cover of the heater or base also with epoxy.(I have been using AREMCO 315 (TM) for prototypes, but there are many other epoxy resins available, Check BONDMASTER (TM) for instance).HotSmart technology, Zap and serve (TM), InstaHot (TM)

HEATER, BASE, GAPS
2007-06-22 01:43:00
There is a gap between the heater and the plate (Upper gap), also there is a gap below the heater, the objective is to keep the heater almost floating inside the cavity (Minimum physical contact). There is a centering boss to keep the heater centered, it can be on the base or the downside of the plate. the boss does not need to be cylindrical, It can also be designed for minimum physical contact. The technology is so simple that is practically impossible to engineer around.

FIRST DINNER PLATE WITH AN ANTENNA?
2007-06-19 19:55:00
These are antennas I designed to capture the Microwave energy and to melt the PCM. In the beginning I wanted to use PCM's to store the heat inside the plate but they were only available in Germany and Australia, I wonder what those companies were thinking when their products were not available in the Country with the largest economy in the world (USA of course), but thanks to them, Now they will have me as competitor with a simpler technology to store heat. Ihave a properly withnessed laboratory book proving that I invented that. I have not conducted a patent search for plates with antennas though. I will check the Mars Patent Office when I have the time.PROTECTIVE PUBLISHING, NOBODY CAN PATENT ANYTHING THAT IS PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE (I would contest it).

PLATE AND HEATER ASSEMBLED
2007-06-19 02:18:00
Glued with Aremco 315 epoxy resin. There is a gap between the heater and the plate, the thickness of the heater is about 3/8".I call this embodiment "Hanging from the ceiling" (HFC), since the heater will be actually hanging (Like a ceiling fan) supported just at the center. (Click to enlarge).Notice the cover or base at the upper right hand side. For this prototype it was made out of ceramic, it should be made out of the same material as the plate (An excellent light weight material by CORELLE(TM)). Many other materials can also be used.http://www.heatretentiveplates.com/

NOT A UFO
2007-06-19 01:38:00
This is not a UFO, it is just a small piece of ceramic "UFO shaped" used to create the underboss of a HEAT RETENTIVE PLATE, it allows to center and create a gap between the heater and the upper component of the HRP (Heat retentive plate). Naturally the production finished product will include this shape on the underside of the plate. The heat retentive plate comprises three components:1)Plate, 2)Heater and 3)Base You can start asking for the HEAT RETENTIVE PLATES to your favorite dinnerware provider, he may have already signed a license deal that will enable him to distribute the plates in the USA.Zap one minute in the microwave, it keeps your food hot. handle with bare hands.http://www.heatstoragedish.com/
IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS SMOKE
2007-06-06 20:25:00
DO NOT WORRY, Heat Retentive Plates are safe, this is one of my first experiments with PCM's (Phase change materials) or something like that, I promised my wife that if something happened to the microwave oven I'd buy her a new one. We have a new one but because I wanted to experiment with higher Wattages. I need to buy a new dinner table though, the one we have is currently my shop.

DETAIL OF JOINT FOR HEAT RETENTIVE PLATE
2007-05-28 21:49:00
The joint is designed for minimum use of cement or epoxy resin (See dark zone). The 3 bisque components are joined with high temperature cement , glazed and fired. Preglazed components can also be joined using high temperature epoxy resins. The upper component or dish has a porous dry foot that fits the groove of the base, the glazed base has also a dry foot at the left side of the joint. it is IMPORTANT to note that the base needs to be fired upside down. The assembly as a whole does not have a dry foot when the pre glazed components are joined with epoxy resin or other high tech adhesives. The dry foot in normal plates is porous, absorbs humidity and may transfer germs to the surface of the plate below (where food is served) when plates are stacked.

HEAT RETENTIVE DINNER PLATES
2006-09-20 04:39:03
Why had I not called the heat retentive plates dinner plates?: Because for me they are breakfast plates, lunch plates hi tec steak plates and of course dinner plates. I use them for everything, from eggs to steak, etc.Why do I call them dinnerplates now?:Because it is the most obvious use for heat retentive plates and I now realize that people search the internet for dinner plates, If you search for plates, you get license plates, tectonic plates, steel plates etc.Voila!how could I ignore something that obvious?... for plates that you zap one minute in the micro and stayhot 1/2 hour see: http://www.heatstoragedish.com http://www.heatretentiveplates.com Juan

Zap the steak plate and serve
2006-09-11 21:48:03
ZAP THE PLATE AND SERVE!... (I DO NOT THINK I CAN WRITE SIMPLER INSTRUCTIONS ) I could be perhaps more specific: "Zap the hi-tec steak plate and serve" OR "Zap the heat retentive plate and serve" WHAT ABOUT JUST: "Zap and serve"??? The info I want to convey is that you pre-heat these new type of plates for just one minute in a microwave oven and they store thermal energy and release it slow

STEAK PLATES, DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS
2006-09-04 02:57:05
Instruction s on how to use the "steak plates". They are "Heat retentive plates" in a preferred embodiment in oval shape)): 1) Pre-heat the heat retentive plate in a microwave oven for just one minute. 2)Take out the plate with your bare hands by the rim (It remains at room temperature) and serve your steak. 3)???... What? There is no number 3?:...NO No, the plate will start releasing the heat with a delay action(It reaches maximum temperature typically 5 to 8 minutes after it is taken out of the microwave oven), and will release heat at a controlled rate according to the Stefan-Boltzmann law for radiation of black bodies, to maintain your steak hot without over cooking it. http://www.heatstoragedish.com http://www.heatretentiveplates.com Juan
